🌟Daily Tip From Your Conscious Business Guru - The Current Unrest 🌟
How many of you have been feeling a bit off these past few days? I have been speaking with a lot of people who have suddenly found they are questioning their purpose and the road that they are on. Things are not transpiring as they expected or other things have appeared that make them wonder if there is something else that they should be doing. Others are feeling de-motivated and slightly anxious.
There is definitely a shift going on - I spoke about this on the 12th of February in my Daily Tip post.
To remind you: "Sometimes we are too focused on the current timeline that we fail to see the other timelines running alongside us with different options. Imagine you are travelling by train on a railway track and on either side of you are other railway tracks with other trains. You stick to yours and refuse to change tracks even when you can see the one you are on isn’t going the way you want anymore, but the other trains are beckoning you to jump on board.
That’s because you have put out what you want and the universe is GIVING IT BACK TO YOU but it may not be in the way you thought.
If you really stop to look around, I am sure you will see the other trains and you will recognise what you have been waiting for. And then it’s just a simple matter of switching tracks!" .
As Conscious Leaders we ALWAYS practice Self-Awareness. It is one of our key attributes and a critical one at that because it allows us to be present, in tune with and in the flow with all that is going on around us. And given we do not live in a vacuum, it is one of our most beneficial tools.
I urge you to read @elizabethperu
blog post today on her website (www.elizabethperu.com) as it provides incredible clarity as to the current shifts.
Time to change trains everyone!!

Wake up and smell the coffee, or tea, or what ever you prefer.
Did you know though, most tea bags are laced with plastic, just as most coffee comes in a plastic container, or has a plastic lid.
So here’s a little shout out to @percol
who’ve made their organic and fair trade coffee packaging completely compostable and also to @yorkshiretea
who, although they’ve hit some struggles in removing the plastic from their tea bags they’ve kept going because they know less plastic = a better planet (if you want cheering up google misbehaving tea bags, Yorkshire tea to learn more). So remember, your small actions even down to the tea and coffee you buy can make a difference. Now that’s pretty magical if you ask me! (Gifted coffee as part of their no plastic campaign I’m super happy to be a part of)
The Thing With Healing IS:- YOU CHOOSE IF YOU WANT TO HEAL.
To remain vested in being unwell is YOUR own choice.... healing in any form is facilitated by skilled shamans that simply provide the tools and space for you to release unwanted blockages from your life.
I chose kinesthetic and sound healing based on my own life altering experience... Sometimes there is subconscious fear around what might happen if we let go, our life is shaped by pain.
1. Firstly I reccomend working on your physical self, be gentle, Allow yourself a vacation from mind stress (relationships/work). 2. Binge watch TV, read a book, take sick leave, nurture yourself until your body TELLS you to move. (working on this aspect allows your body to work better with the mind once the mind relaxes)
3. Contact someone you trust with holding space, someone that is objective but never opinionated on your motives, goals or experience..... Generally a professional.
Be conscious x

- TUES FEB 19 | SUPERMOON THROAT CHAKRA ACTIVATION 🌬🌕
One week from today we are going on an epic journey to cultivate the fullest expression of our voice through kundalini, crystals, reiki + sound. This is a recipe for deeply relaxing into the knowing that you are worthy, that you deserve to be heard, that your voice matters and balance the throat chakra in such a way that your communication + expression comes from a deeply neutral, loving and peaceful place.
You will visualize out any heavy energy, move out whatever has been bogging you down, chant out anything that has been stifled, and lay out anything that is no longer of service to you, surrendering it to the Infinite Consciousness to neutralize. You will then allow yourself to receive high vibrational energy healing that softens you into a trance-like state where subtle yet powerful shifts happen. I hope you will join us! Link to register is on my website in the upcoming workshops tab.

So something happened recently in my business.
Something I've never had happen before...I realized what I'm worth. I fully understood my purpose in this world. I 100% believe in myself now.
Yes, this just recently happened... and I'm a business coach!
It's hard to get to this point. Sometimes there's no rushing it. Sometimes things happen that put it off further in your biz journey. Sometimes the possibility seems laughable or even impossible.
But when you get there, you'll know. The universe gives you a big ole' HIGH FIVE.
Today's takeaway: The minute you realize your worth, you shift your energy to attract people who respect your worth. But it starts with you first. . . .
On a scale of 1 - 10, do you fully believe in your beautiful capabilities? Tell me below.
While I still have some work to do, I'm at like a 8.5! Highest it's ever been.
PLATONIC, PETTY, TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES. ❌ Why do we CREATE trauma with our loved ones? What good does it do us to creative narratives in our heads involving the people we hold closest? How can we release ourselves from the cycle of building upon our deepest traumas to fully love the individuals we call our FRIENDS. 🏵✨
For over a decade, I have danced for @pasacatinc.
Through these years, I’ve danced alongside those I now call my closest friends. Nowadays, I teach there, and can only hope I pass this message on.
Years ago, we were introduced to a workshop by @thejoyofelle
that would help us open up our emotions to truly FEEL, so that in turn... we’d be able to showcase true emotion and character on the dance floor and in performance. I’m unapologetically empathetic and this moved mountains.
We were asked to pair up and face one another and take one of two roles - releasing or receiving. Part of this experience led to one person saying, “I hate you,” over and over again to their partner. The other would respond with, “I’m sorry.” Over and over.
I’m sure you can imagine that this began as an extremely laughable experience. It was funny. It was funny because we don’t tell each other often when we feel frustrated or uncomfortable. We pardon those interactions for sake of what? “Keeping the peace?” Yet, as the laughs fell aside... step in and imagine now with every “I hate you” you released, slowly the emotions you’ve bottled begin to surface.
I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU.
Slowly, you begin to feel the pains from each & every time someone hurt you. The receiver becomes your punching bag & the “I hate you’s” become stronger - so strong that they become destructive. Yet every time, the receiver - your friend - never falters. As many times as you need it, they respond with “I’m sorry.”
I don’t support verbal abuse, however, I do support the transparency and acceptance that this workshop sets the foundation for. It begins to break down the barrier of “politeness,” for sake of just being real with someone, and them allowing & holding space for you to do so.

hi and happy sunday! just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has signed up for our email list, and to the shops interested in teaming up, and everyone we’ve had the chance to chat with these past few months. our website is launching so soon and once that’s up & running, we’ll be able to connect with more people locally in seattle & portland which will be so good. anyone else really craving that in-person connecting these days? we couldn’t think of starting a new website without it. so if you’re in the area, let’s talk! sincerely, the team of introverts behind this #ecoclubofficial

So much has shifted and changed in those eight years. I’ll share more on this later in the month. But let me just say that if someone would have told me I’d be running my own business and sharing the God-centred message of hope I started sharing back then now - and full time - I’d have laughed.
NEVER give up on the dreams God has placed within you. If HE is for you in what you’re pursuing, no one and nothing can be against!
It won’t always be easy, but it WILL 100% always be worth it.

"What compelled us to start WVN was that the weavers told us that in 10 years, weaving in that community could die because none of the younger generations wanted to inherit the craft. So, in 10 years (that's in 2029!), we hope to say that we were able to stop this from happening." ––Kylie Misa and Yvette Gaston for #OurPartnerStories
We had a conversation with Kylie and Yvette, founders of WVN Home Textiles, a social enterprise with Filipino weaves at the heart of their ideas. They advocate for a shift in the way the younger generations value weaves and awareness of the beauty of our local handloom industry.
, we highlight journeys, advocacies, and communities of the like-minded people, brands, and organizations that we work with. We are inspired by these partners every single day and we sincerely hope that their stories are meaningful and helpful to you, too! We do know that, at this point in time, the world needs to hear more from these voices.

COMFY VELVET PANTS | PURE ORGANIC COTTON | PERFECT MATCH | 74 | #annigracebaby
FYI – my life isn’t all blue skies, palm tress and pools here in Singapore. This past week I’ve felt super alone and as a result unsupported.
Coming off 5 days of constant conversation, unwavering support and beautiful female friendship in Bali, to solo parenting in a new country where I pretty much don’t know anyone, has been hard to say the least.
Xanthe can only hold a conversation for so long. And let’s face it, I only share her passion for dinosaurs and Paw Patrol to a degree.
And yes, I have an incredible family who I skype everyday (thank god, or I really would go insane), clients who I love and amazing friends scattered around the world. But there’s something vital about having someone close by. Someone you can ring and say “I’ve locked my self out of my apartment (again), can I please come to your place?” or “My baby is driving me nuts, I’m not coping. Please bring wine!” (In case you’re wondering – true stories).
I had those types of friendships in spades in Hong Kong and Australia. And I’m actually grieving the loss of those in person friendships. I wish I could convince everyone to come and live in Singapore ;)
I’m not sharing this so people will feel sorry for me. I’m sharing this A) because I want my friends to know that I truly do love them, appreciate them and miss them and B) this is a poignant reminder to myself that the loneliness I felt this week isn’t half as bad as what I experienced when I first moved to Hong Kong…and look what treasured connections came out of that space.
I keep coming back to my theme of ‘Slow Success’ in regards to friendships right now, which Aristotle expresses perfectly with his quote, “Wishing to be friends is quick work, but friendship is a slow ripening fruit.”
Oh and PS, James is back home which always makes things 1000% times better!

Dear Tosser - #isthisyours
Here is why my family has had enough of me picking up other people’s rubbish!
So the environmental damage of our trash entering the waterways is well known and, I’ll leave it up to your imagination to contemplate the damage a rope like this could do to our innocent wildlife. These issues are the reason I diligently pick up after people wherever I go however, there is a new more personal frustration beginning to surface
Picking up rubbish is time away from our intended activity
This rope was found on one of the Moreton Bay islands, in the most perfect spot where we dropped anchor for a picnic and a swim. I don’t know about you but there is no way I am enjoying a picnic when I can see other people’s rubbish and I can’t manage to turn a blind eye. It had to be picked up and, in this particular occasion, what we collected had to be placed in and around us in our ‘tinny’ to take back to the mainland. To make matters worse, we had no bags with us as this was a family day out, not an intended beach clean activity
So I ask you, please, keep your rubbish with you and take responsibility for securing anything you set out with in a boat. That way, conscious citizens can spend their valuable time enjoying these spectacular places without having to clean them up first!
Let’s protect what we all love - is this asking too much...? Many thanks, Shea
Ark, possibly Australia's biggest fans of environmental awareness 🌏👐 !⠀
PlanetArk is an amazing group who've been hard at it for decades, non-stop sharing information and support with the broader community and especially large corporate industry. ⠀
In 2019 Planet Ark and The Australian Circular Fashion Conference collaborate for apparel and textile environmental awareness. Still regarded as a relatively new topic we aim to spark discussions and trigger habitual change among the community and corporate sector. Over the next month they'll cover important topics and interviews in the lead up the conference to raise awareness and drive change. ⠀
We also have a very special treat planned for the conference, one that could only have happened with the support of Planet Ark, @Detpak
and one last surprise ingredient. More information to come! ⠀
