I know that I am probably not taken seriously on a regular basis, based solely on the fact that I don't wear a belt with my EDC. I don't wear a belt for my own personal reasons but I did, when I first started carrying. It is not a decision based on lack of education or knowledge. When I discovered the ulticlip, like most people I thought it was ridiculous. Why would you take the chance of your holster coming out with your firearm? Why take the chance of losing minutes when seconds count?! For comfort?! After all, at the end of the day carrying is about safety, not comfort and you make the necessary compromises. I got the ulticlip to prove it wouldn't work. When I tested it and pulled my fire arm and pulled my firearm and pulled my firearm, here I was MONTHS later trying to figure out how the hell this thing hadn't failed at any test I put it through. To be completely honest, coming home and struggling to get the damn thing off my fucking pants is a norm for me (especially when I have go pee) That was the moment I decided I could and would use it. So please do not mistake the fact that I do not wear a belt for my lack if education, training or flat out stupidity.
