HOMEMADE HUMMUS 💛 So smooth, so creamy, and so good for my insides! Why?? Regular hummus you will find is made with an oil like canola or other vegetable oils, which are damaging to the body. I am yet to find an olive oil based hummus/dip/spread that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. So in my pursuit of foods that will nourish my body, I thought I’d try my hand at making some hummus myself.
Little did I know... it was INCREDIBLY EASY!! Literally took me 5 minutes, I put all the ingredients into my @thermomixnz
and came out so creamy and delicious, the texture was like I’d never tasted before. I then split the mixture in half and added fresh beetroot to it for some variety! This was the perfect condiment to my veggie sticks, and the ideal snack to nibble on, or put with platters!
Whilst I realise not everyone has the luxury of time to make this, I was genuinely shocked at how quick it was to whip up! I’m also aware our body’s can handle a bit of processed foods now and then, so I’ll still happily eat the regular one when I’m out and about, but it’s great to know I have the option!!
