Homemade NUT MILK 4 ways 🙌🏼 💕? . . . All you have to do is: 1) Cover your favorite nuts or seeds with water and let them soak overnight. I like to rotate between almonds, walnuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, Brazil nuts, and hemp hearts (no soaking required for hemp hearts!) . 2) Rinse and drain in the morning, throw into a blender with 4 cups of water, bit of vanilla, cinnamon, sea salt and a natural sweetener (like raw honey, pure maple syrup or dates) if you wish. I often skip sweetening the milk and add it later to my drinks, if needed. As you can see here you can also add cacao powder to make a chocolate drink 🍫😋 . 3) At this point you can strain the milk if you want with a cheesecloth or mesh bag to remove the pulp (optional). I have a whole bunch of pulp recipes on my website PROJECTVEG.COM if you're wondering what to do with the leftover pulp like raw vegan cookies, protein balls, or add it to yogurts or nice cream. . Store in the fridge in a cold spot (not the door) for 5-7 days. It's normal for the milk to separate. Just shake it before use and enjoy 💗 . . . .
