Honestly, what’s your favorite leg exercise? I feel like squats will always be superior for building the legs up but my 2nd favorite movement is the hack squat hands down. Tom Platz was always a huge believer in this movement. Many of his leg training photos featured this machine. What I love about it is that it’s harder to go heavy on, unlike the standard leg press where tons of plates are loaded. All the weight rests on the shoulders instead. It’s a great challenge and fits nicely after compound squats 💯🔥✅ #TomPlatz#HackSquats

Start each day with a champion mindset. Remember, your thoughts become your reality.
Just trying to get big legs 👀
You can definitely grow legs without squatting, but squats are gonna be your best friend if you want them to grow, and get THICC just because you're able to move the most weight and put the muscle under the most stress.
I always do squats first thing (after warming up) and generally stick in the 4-6 rep range, and sets vary on what I did the previous week. Today I did sets of 8 just because I forgot to bring my belt, but was still able to make it work 🤙
If you're just starting to lift and don't squat often, dont focus on moving weight. Make form your main priority because this is a movement that is very easy to do wrong. Keep weight relatively light (around 15 reps per set) and either record yourself or have someone who is experienced watch and critique you.
Form is king when it comes to resistance training! If you're doing movements wrong, you'll increase your risk of injury and put unecessary stress on muscles you're not trying to be working!
