Been thinking about the 80/20 rule lately

There are definitely some things that I am doing that are taking 80% of my energy but are only making me 20% happy

Sometimes we do invest too much energy in the wrong things

I’m sure there are things on which I can focus on more that will drain less of my energy and make me feel happier

It’s just a matter of finding them and then going 100% in

Did you watch any of the Star Sailors League action? If not, here are some snaps courtesy of one of the winners,
@jorgezarif of Brazil. His team bested fellow Brasileiros
@robert.scheidt and Henry Boening with The Italian/German duo Negri/Kleen taking bronze. There was a lot of world class talent from Stars and other boat classes in this event. It’s worth noting that Scheidt is arguably the most successful sailor in Olympic history, with 5 medals between the Laser dinghy and the Star keelboat. He’s the only sailor we’re aware of to win an Olympic medal in both a dinghy and a keelboat.

Yesterday morning she woke up out of her sleep asking for a ice cream cone out of nowhere we told her it was way too early to eat ice cream & by end of the night when she didn’t even ask the restaurant gave her a ice cream cone 🍦 ... Thanks

🙏 On GAWD✋... My Birthday on December 13th 2014 was really one of my best birthdays ever ever 'f-ing' ever! I think it was also one of the most warmest December's back then. Hadn't even snowed yet as I recall the weather was like early Autumn da day.
Spent most on the day in
#CityIsland which was totally AMAZEBALLS💣💣😂 (in my white girl voice) then had a surprise dinner party thrown for me at my (then) bosses restaurant she owned and shut da whole restaurant down to show me gratitude in running her business which I used to manage at the time. Looking back today, I feel so grateful. 💁My life has balance. Hmm. I'm literally smiling whilst I type this. I've had da most SINISTER, DEVIOUS AND MANIPULATIVE THINGS DONE TO ME by several ppl back in 2014 and I guess God wanted to show me as much as there were a group of ppl that hated me on one side of da world 🌎...there were ten times more ppl loving me and showing me love on da other side of da world 🌎

“Seashore Marina” City Island, New York, Summer, 2018. Acrylic on 8x10 Canvas Panel. I’ve been experimenting with a looser style painting, trying to capture less details and more movements in my art, it feels more freeing to paint this way, hope everybody likes it! @worldsailingofficial. Watch top sailors in the venerable, tactical Star class keelboat that was a mainstay in the Olympics since 1932 (no longer but still a fiercely competitive class). This is a circuit event/tour that’s semi-pro and has cash prizes. The tour is modeled after ATP tennis events and meant to showcase and attract talent and keep the sport cruising along sustainably. Well worth tuning in!
