I might not have ripped muscles BUT I know how far I've come and I'm only getting stronger!!! 💪💪💪 With the help of my new Awesome T-shirt from my baby Sista @smashed_blitz I was super motivated!! 👌😍💪 You see, for me I can easily get inside my head about my progress and I sometimes allow ' comparison' to creep in.... it's so easy to do when you see so many pics of ripped women... Six weeks ago, I did this fitness test in 7:40. Today I slashed over a minute from it in our last #MMFreshStart session. I'm so pleased with how much stronger and "bouncier" I'm feeling from this program, even with taking a short family break and "relaxing" my nutrition for ten days or so (still working out though there was a six day MM break in there). Week 2 of the Mini-Cut in the books 📚 - ✔️Avg. Weight: 181.75lbs (⬇️1.75lbs) - ✔️Calories: 2200 or below - ✔️Cardio: 2hrs basketball practice - ✔️Hunger: 7/10 - thinking about food but not quite licking my plate clean yet. - 🙏Overall a good week! Some days where all I wanted to do was eat which isn’t too good but happy with the weight drop! - Hit a new low weight of 179.75lbs so it was good to tease under 180lbs. - Definitely going to push until I hit at least 175lbs just to see how I look. - One thing I’m trying to get the grasp of is hunger. Not controlling it but accepting it. When you decide to diet you’ll ultimately be hungry to a degree. I’m learning that this is a part of the process and that trying to be full the whole time is actually more detrimental in the long-term. - So far, no extreme salads, 0kcal jelly or litres of Diet Coke have snuck their way into my diet yet. - Personally I have a big issue where as soon as I start a diet my mind switches and I constantly worry about my food. I’m better than my last diet but still need work for sure! - Bring on week 3!

I set a goal in October to work with a coach for training and nutrition for three months—and here I am, at my 12 week check-in with @erin.bjornson 🎉🙌🏻 After looking into a few other coaches and not clicking with any, I'm so incredibly happy and grateful to have gone with Erin. She's kind, knowledgeable, explains the why behind things, and not only is she a PT, but also a yoga teacher and I really value the perspective she brings from being experienced in both those areas. I'm learning so much, getting stronger each and every week, and continually seeing progress in not just the physical, but mental and daily habits as well.. and still eating A LOT. I can't wait for what the next three months have in store for me!
Current situation - 86kgs this morning. That’s 1.4kgs up in 9 weeks with noticeable increase in tissue. .. Looking realistically this gain may for some seem small but when In muscle gaining phase you don’t want to be gaining any unwanted weight and getting sloppy isn’t greatly effective. The scales may look great but in reality will your health markers be in check? Probably not in my opinion. .. So 1.4kgs on in this time frame is a productive offseason, sill have some sort of abs, not eating any shite, 1 free meal a week which is a decent breakfast on a Thursday. .. For any sort of progression or if your thinking about competing at high level, professional maybe then it requires you think like a pro, act like one... what do they do? .. Progress update ~ Checked in with coach @em_kingbodies yesterday and I'm absolutely STOKED with the progress we are making! I am my own worst critic (who isnt though) and often doubt myself, but when Em showed me the leg and glute growth since starting our journey together, I became a believer. This lean bean is finally getting somewhere!After all, photos don't lie 💁🏼‍♀️ . My hard work and consistency paid off with an increase in calories and change in my macros. WEEKLY CHECK-IN: Stats: 🔹WEEKS POST SHOW: 22 🔹WEEKS UNTIL PREP: 9 🔹WEIGHT: 124 lbs ??? (Forgot to weigh myself!) 🔹HEIGHT: 5'3" 🔹FOOD THIS WEEK: Well I was sick this week, and still am, but I ate really well and as closer to my macros as possible. Some days I just wasn't hungry due to my cold but I forced down some good meals anyway. 🔹TRAINING THIS WEEK: I did 4 heavy training days! Not bad for being sick, but took some days off to reset and recover. 🔹ENERGY/FEELING: I think my physique is looking better than ever right now. It's unfortunate to be sick and that effects how things look, but it's only temporary. Don't be hard on yourself if you're not feeling 100% about your body when you're sick! 🔹NEXT WEEK: Well I'm still REALLY DARN SICK, so I'm just going to try to get better and focus oh my upcoming burlesque shows!
