I love it when people try to tell me that Cats can't make the World a better place.
Because then I get to tell them that not only do Cats make the World better, they make it smaller, too.
And I tell them that I've made friends--real connections with real Human Beings--in New Jersey, Philadelphia and North Carolina. I've made them in Chicago, Indiana, Los Angeles and the Twin Cities. I started, and maintain, this account first and foremost for my own enjoyment, and also as a detailed document of my life with these Creatures whom I love above all else. But I'd be lying if I said it doesn't feel good knowing that others enjoy the content as well.
So when Claire let me know that she and her husband Duncan were coming to NYC on holiday and asked if Nico & I would like to get together one evening, I jumped at the chance. [CONTINUED BELOW IN COMMENTS]
