Every time I order a new dish at Sly Fox Gastro Club, it's presentation takes me by complete surprise. It's always innovative and the props used are classy.
In most of the restaurants, a #Vegetarian #KebabPlatter
normally comprises of 4-6 kinds of Kebabs, which are usually based on - paneer or cottage cheese, potato, curd, corn, peas and of late even mushroom, cauliflower and broccoli.
The aforesaid platter usually gets served in a relatively big plate with one or more Dips or Chutneys and some side salad.
But at Sly Fox Gastro Club, this platter arrived in an open two tier bird cage (refer to the pic displayed below)! The top tier came laden with 3 portions each of the following 4 types of #Kebabs
, namely - Punjabi #PaneerTikka
The bottom tier comprised of two small white ceramic bowls containing two types of #Chutneys
, surrounded with thinly scrapped off #carrot
I missed on tasting the Chutneys and carrot peels, but I did taste the Kebabs.
Relatively bigger in size, well cooked and well stuffed, the Kebabs, barring the paneer one, were crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. The paneer based Kebabs were soft, dense and well marinated, as well. All the Kebabs tasted expectantly wonderful and were quite filling.
This Kebab Platter would easily suffice 4 people.
