15 students were enrolled in phase one of our carpentry programme. Unfortunately 3 had to drop out due to family circumstances but we are delighted that 6 of our graduates are now self employed and now running their own businesses and the other 6 are employed in the workshop where our trainer operates.
35 women signed up for our tailoring programme, 30 of whom are now graduated and are now employed using this new skills. The programme had such a positive impact on the local community that 35 more women have signed up to join the next group - what a great success!
Picture below - trainees at the Spotlight workshop putting the final touches to the 75 desks they constructed for a school in the local district. Each desk can seat 3 pupils which means that 225 school children will now have decent seats to sit on!

Ol Deuce with this adorable fucking snowman he made one morning
So, earlier this week I've made a test with the new DeWalt 20V max framing nailer. It was a very commun test, driving nails in two 2X4. .
Now this is a more serious test. 3-1/2 " of LVL ! This material is solid and dense ! First is shot 4 nails with a pneumatic nailer, which is the normality. Then I shot 4 nails with the DeWalt. .
As you can see in the pictures, the dewalt didn't go all the way through. The head is just over the LVL. The pneumatic nailer drive the nails slightly inside. .
For me it's a pretty impressive performance from DeWalt. This material is so hard to nail, even with pneumatic gun, let me know what you think I'm very curious ! Do you think their's a better and harder test then that ? Are you impressed by this performance ? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
