It is set! One month from today I'll begin the great South American Adventure. We shall kick it off in the magestical Peru.
Booked my one way flight from Los Angeles, CA, USA to Lima, Peru for the end of August. I plan on staying one month in the city district of Lima then will head up into the mountains to stay in the Sacred Valley region of Cusco. This will be where I can prepare physically and spiritually before trekking up the Inca Trail to one of our greatest wonders of the world... Machu Picchu! Its been great to see I already have 3 different couch surfers in Peru offering to host me (this early on) for 2 months should I choose so. Its freedom to know I have that community covering my back all over Earth. All on Love.
After that, most likely a quick break in the states for business and family before flying back to South America down to Brazil. I'll plan on staying in Rio for 2 months, using workaway.info and cheap Air Bnbs. The work away I found in Brazil will teach me about running a Travel Agency, Hostels and sailing a boat for a tour company. All this will come with a bed, meals, Wi-Fi and more all FREE! We need to open our minds to the tools, communities and people available to help us truly travel the world and stop making excuses. I'm done waiting.
After Brazil, swing on down to Montevideo, Uruguay to Buenas Aires, Argentina, to Santiago, Chile to La Paz, Bolivia to Bogota, Columbia and finish it off with exploring the epic Angel Falls in the wild Venezuela before bringing it all to an end. Expecting 6 to 9 months worth of Travel down there, giving me an excellent chance to practice my Spanish. Of course tinker with Portuguese a little in Brazil too.
This will be better than South East Asia when it comes to me still running Angel City Limo and answering phones with a similar time zone. The cost of living down there is excellent for the US Dollar. Between Air Bnb apartments averaging $200 - $400 a month, work away hosts everywhere, the couch surfing community backing me up and $40 - $120 bus tickets to ride from one country to the next... Im tired of making excuses constantly stalling in California, I got this!
