I needed that week off! I made myself a priority and by taking time away from here I was able to keep my mind in check, mostly. After I got back from the doctors on Monday night with some new IBS medication (my last stories) my husband fell really poorly which meant I spent all of last week doing drop offs, pick ups, playdates and Hull Fair with Zeke by myself. Whilst keeping on top of the housework, sorting the animals, and looking after Ant I had the busiest week at work. It was Mental Health Awareness Day last week, I hate talking about it but just because that's the kind of person I am its not anything to do with the stigma around it. But it was so refreshing to hear that I'm not the only one who struggles, because sometimes it feels that way! I've also had an appointment with the Migraine clinic, it wasn't bad news but it wasn't good news either. On top of that it was our first wedding anniversary so we spent the weekend in Manchester (our favourite city) but that trip was cut short because I got a migraine on Saturday afternoon!! If you made it this far you win 10 purple stars 🤩 Anyway, I'm back and I'm ready to get back on track because whilst I enjoyed my weekend of crazy naughty food and drink, my insides want vegetables!!
