This is really short but I hope you like it 😂❤ "Y/N, behind you!", you hear Clint's voice from a certain distance. Turning around, you kick one of Hydra's agents on his chin, punching him on his stomach when he loses his balance.
"Thank you!", you yell back at Hawkeye while grabbing a grenade and throwing it under one of Hydra's vans. Right before the vehicle explodes, a man shouts "Hail Hydra!", but the voice soon fades into the flames.
"They need a whole crew to try and bring us down. Hilarious", you chuckle, grabbing a knife and throwing it at another man's hand. He drops his gun and your foot lands on his nose.
"Don't get too cocky", you can practically hear Tony's smile through your earpiece.
"There's nothing to worry about", you reach for another knife and just as you are about to throw it, you feel a tight grip on your waist. Steve stares at you with a worried expression.
"Y/N, be careful or you'll get hurt", he raises his shield over your head, protecting both of you from a rain of grenades and explosions.
"I will try. Thank you, Mister United States!", you kiss his cheek when he releases you from his embrace, causing him to blush and chuckle.
"Tony, light it up!", Natasha's voice can be heard on your earpiece.
"Let's set up the Christmas lights", Tony flies inside the compound as you and the rest of the Avengers fight the remaining Hydra agents on the outside.
"Everybody take cover!", Tony yells on your earpice. Steve shields himself and Natasha while Sam, Thor and Rhodey fly away. Clint and Bucky hide behind a huge concrete block and Wanda creates a field force to shield herself, you, Peter and Bruce.
At the moment Tony bursts out of the compound, it explodes. Metal shards and concrete blocks fly in all directions.
"Merry Christmas, team!", Tony happily says on your earpiece.
Wanda brings her force field down as the whole group gathers around where you are, in the middle of the wrecks.
"I love you all so much", you grin as the team joins in for a group hug. That might not be normal people's ideal way of spending Christmas, but that doesn't matter to any of you. After all, you are a family. And family comes first.
