are backed up with #BREEZE #clamps
I have used #loktite
most durable and tough stuff in the past, just to have it fail. Mainly due to vibrations causing it to work loose.
I have learned you do not just use one method to secure something that will vibrate alot.
I could go with a two part epoxy, but they have limits and can be messy to use. May or may not cure as strong as possible due to me improperly mixing the two components together. Or, just getting tired of waiting hours or more to be able to move to the next step.
With the screw and or bolt system and clamps to secure everything you pretty much know what you are getting. And, it is ready as soon as you are to go.
Unlike two part epoxy this is much easier to repair. I can as a last resort cut the bands off, and unscrew or rescrew what came loose.
To try to make the tow hook move towards the rear tire... Might as well be pushing against a wall.
As far as side to side torque it is about 1% out of 100%
My original set up even with the rods to steady things.... It was still about 15% wiggle ability to it.
Stable enough.... But l, definitely could improve.
With this configuration the rear handlebar as mentioned in another post.. Serves as a handhold to allow a person or people to give me a push up a hill I can't handle alone.
The silver @ribgrips
24" handrims minus the soft and amazing www.RibGrips.com rubberized material also provide another place for a handhold while pushing.
