🙋🏻‍♀️My wish list: master closet, master bathroom, and not a lot of updates needed. . 🙋🏻‍♂️Daniel’s wish list- garage, single family home, yard . This first house met our lists except for being a single family. But when I first saw it online, I knew I could convince Daniel to go take a look at it because it was an end unit with a big yard, garage and completely updated. When we first toured the house, it was a rainy day, but the house was still so bright with natural light! . We bought this house before we got married and Daniel moved in first. After we got married it was special to live together in our first home 🏡We brought our first puppy Effie home to this house, brought Jacob home here, and walked the stairs and hallways through many sleepless nights with him. . We knew this was our starter home but didn’t expect our next home to come along so quickly. In 18 days, we will be moving on to our next family home. A home we can grow into. A home that neither of us had to comprise on. . So yes, the next few weeks will be whirlwind with packing, Christmas and then our big move, but oh what joy it’ll be! . 🏡What’s a feature of your home that you’re just in love with? Mine is the natural light and my master closet ❤️
Official BUMP update 😉 . At just over #15weeks I have already gained about 8 lbs despite being sick the first several weeks, but I am pretty damn confident that most of that is holding steady in my boobs 🙄🤣 . Most days I feel like I am bigger than I actually am...aka when I saw this pic I was like “that’s it 🤔” My regular jeans aren’t interested in fitting me anymore and oddly I am feeling pretty okay about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ . I have been asked lately if I fear this pregnancy; if I fear the inevitable weight gain or the potential depression again since I am so open about how much I struggled the first time around. The answer to that is no. I am not fearful of the inevitable because I am not the same person I was 4 years ago. My mind is in a much stronger place. I have put so much work and effort into understanding my fears and working toward getting past them. I remember the fear and despair I felt during and after, but I also remember how I conquered once I put a little faith in myself. ✨ . This time, sure I am eating cookies and ice cream. Yes I am also eating all the veggies. And yes I am still pushing play and moving 4-5 days a week. I being mindful. I am listening to my body and I am embracing this season with the healthier perspective. Remember friends ~ the past is your lesson, it doesn’t define you unless you let it. I won’t lie- sleep has not been my friend lately. 😴 I’ve been exhausted balancing everything and then at night, I’m in pain because of my back and toss and turn all night waking up 4-5 times. I don’t do caffeine because I can’t stand teas or coffees and try to avoid pop or energy drinks because let’s face it- who knows what is in those! Usually, I suck it up, remain slightly crabby and stumble through the day. Today is different. I felt the energy decrease and reached for Energize! Now, I know I can focus on work, get my workout in later and still do mommy duty! 😘 Need help with your energy levels? Comment 🔥

This is what my typical lunch break looks like nowadays. 🥗 I usually don't get to eat lunch until 2 or 3 because I am busy feeding my toddler, breastfeeding and nursing my sick dog to take his meds and eat. 🤱🧒🏼🐕 My baby loves to touch me constanly so I have adapted to babywearing or eating on the floor with him in my lap. 👶🏻 Going to the bathroom I am never alone my dogs will follow me or my toddler will come in there to play.🚽 I never have time to sit down and watch tv or do leisure activities because there is always piles of laundry, dishes and toys to pick up. 🖥 I can see how taking the time to care for myself or even eat can be put on the back burner 😞 But I constantly have to remind myself to take a break and eat and drink something🍽. Especially since I am breastfeeding. 🤱 But of course I want to eat healthy clean food to give me that natural energy. 🍏🍉 Yes I do this everyday without a drop of coffee😉 So it is important for my family that I take the time every week to meal prep to make these days as a Stay at home mom easier🍱 Because out of all the "jobs" I have had this one is the hardest but most rewarding . 😍😍😍
“When we fulfill our function, which is to truly love ourselves and share love with others, then true happiness sets in.” — Eight months ago, if I would’ve read that anywhere I would’ve laughed and kept scrolling because eight months ago I loved myself a little less than I do today and was way more concerned with giving my love to everyone around me. But eight months I took a chance and decided to invest in myself and begin what would be yet another attempt at losing the unwanted baby weight plus some. During this time I’ve realized that loving people means nothing if you don’t love yourself. Have you heard the phrase fill your cup first? That’s exactly what I started to do eight months ago and I’ve never been happier or more in love with myself! Not only have I filled my cup, and lost 28 pounds (transformation pic coming tomorrow) but I’ve gotten myself into such a positive place mentally AND financially! I feel amazing, my mind is healthy and from coaching and sharing my journey while starting women on theirs I’ve even been able to gift a child in need this Christmas! — #holigains started TODAY, and the girls have started off in a strong note! Why wait for January when you can join us now and already be 5-10 pounds lighter come January 1st?!

So many times I wish I had a whole plethora of winter coats to choose from but then there are a few things I remember: 1.) I live in Texas. South South Texas. So there’s that. 2.) More coats would mean more coat space and I’m not about to give up my hoodie and scarf space for more coats. • • • • I got this red coat the winter I was pregnant with Caleb and needed a little more belly space for our trip to NYC 🤰🏻 🦃 it’s not a maternity coat (is there such a thing?!) AND it’s also a great rain coat! I love bringing my baby boy to the mall with me! It's especially wonderful around the holidays when there are such beautiful decorations for us both to enjoy! Going shopping at a mall can actually be a good way to do a walk or just get some extra steps in. Accountability is a funny thing. • • • • • I woke up to my son screaming out of excitement that I was home (even though he saw us when we got home last night 🤷🏻‍♀️) I didn’t have the best night of sleep and I told Diego I wanted to get coffee & donuts for breakfast. It was too cold. I had a headache. I wanted a nap. • • • • I 100% guarantee y’all my 4.5 miles would NOT have happened if I wouldn’t have had the accountability and commitment I made to doing my long runs on Sundays. This, to me, is what it means to be a coach. It’s leading from the front. It’s hard sometimes. So. Dang. Hard. But I started this journey wanting to show other moms if I can commit to something and find success, ANYONE can. It’s been a year and a half since I had my son and I feel like I’m finally ready to start focusing. Not the half assed fake focusing where I do a meal plan for a few days then cheat the rest of the week. Not a workout here and there. I’m going for it all this time. I used to think I would snap back in a few months and now I realize that’s not possible. It’s not too late though, it’s never too late! Even if it’s been 1.5, 2, or even 5 years!! #youcandoit

OMG I’m so excited! I’ve been wanting to make steps towards a healthier lifestyle for a long time, to be back to where I was pre-baby, and feel good about myself, too! I’ve tried a few other things and realized I need to do what has worked in the past- Beachbody! I also decided to go all in, so I made a decision to become a Beachbody Coach! Im working toward doing what’s best for this little guy. I can achieve MY health and fitness goals AND help my friends and family achieve theirs, too! I am starting my journey with Transform 20 technically in January to get fit in the New Year! The 20 minute workouts are perfect for my busy schedule! Two days without my little guy traveling for work is always tough but the morning snuggles when I get home are the best! Being a traveling, working mom isn’t always the easiest thing for me but in the long run I know I’m doing what is best for my family with my job.
