💥💣 Les progrès se verront quand vous commencerez à sortir de votre zone de confort ! ☝🏼 . [AVANT]: Août 2016 - 53/54 kg 🙎‍♀️ - 11 ans de basket (3 entraînements + 1 match par semaine) 🏀 - Alimentation pas catastrophique mais Mcdo de temps en temps et surtout sucré sans vraiment d'apports protéinés. Pas vraiment de connaissance en alimentation 🍕 . [APRÈS]: Août 2018 - 57kg 💪🏼 - 2 ans de musculation 🏋️‍♀️ - Alimentation adaptée (équilibrée avec de petits écarts). Connaissance sur l'alimentation sans non plus tout connaître 🍎 . Je n'ai jamais eu de coach, je n'ai jamais acheté un programme ou encore un plan alimentaire. Je ne consomme plus de complément alimentaire depuis 1 an. Et j'ai 0 legging @Gymshark 😂 . Bref, apprendre de soi même est la meilleure manière de s'intéresser et de persévérer parce qu'on comprend réellement les mécanismes. Et je suis très loin d'être une pro mais j'ai les bases. Arrêter de demander à droite à gauche, d'attendre que l'information tombe toute crue dans votre bouche (façon de parler hein 😅) ! . Persévérance - Volonté - Intensité - Temps . 😉⏳ . 🙏I’ve been reflecting these past few weeks about who I am...sounds a bit weird right? But when you’ve been through something that makes you feel numb for a while it feels like you forget who you are...it is amazing to feel emotional again. I don’t want pity, infact I want the opposite...what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and that’s the truth. There were days when I thought it would be easier not to wake up...but my boy and my amazing friends and family carried me through. I’ve made so many new friends on my journey this year as well as losing the shitty ones and I feel happier and stronger now than I’ve ever felt 💪. My point is never give up, its okay not to be okay, learn from the things that challenge you, spend time with the right people, recognise your strengths when you are hurting and remember to always be thankful 🙏. This is Bret Contreras and I. Bret is famous for being obsessed about butts. Bret took a sport specific movement (a wrestling/mma bridge) and turned it into a novel way to train your 🍑 in the gym; The Hip Thrust. Last week at @trenchfitness I attended Bret's Glute Workshop. I asked as many thoughtful questions that came to mind, gleaned helpful tips, and even demoed a few exercises for him. From this, I came away with insights on how he builds a program built around the 🍑, how to vary the vectors of force, & how to dose it over the long term. I enjoyed Bret's humor and advice. His acumen on personal training and doing what others won't. The funny thing about deadlifts is that you do a deadlift by simply picking a weight up off the floor. Everyone should know how to do it! But... it’s not! Those are 3 commons mistakes: 1️⃣ butt down: a butt down position is not correct because it does not engage the posterior chain (hamstrings and glutes) for lifting (in engaged more your quads). Your knees should be slightly bent; 2️⃣ ankle degree: this is a direct consequence of the first mistake; the angle of the foot while in a deep squat position is generally < 90 degrees, unless you use Olympic weightlifting shoes; 3️⃣ back position: a neutral spine is ideal. A rounded or hyperextended position can place undue stress on your back.

🍑 LOVE this move right now 🔥 . This assisted kick back with smith machine (with an extra focus on keeping my back from NOT arching) is my cup of tea because I love to focus on unilateral type of training, especially when it comes to my BOOTAYYYY. Or maybe it's because I love anything and everything to do with the booty?! 😂 . OK but in all seriousness.. I have a HUGE difference between my right and left side on my body (just my structure) and as much as I respect my imbalance and not try to over perfect it, I love to ensure I am targeting each leg/arm individually to their fullest potential when I'm training rather then cheating with one side etc. . Whether you have any imbalances in your body or not, training one leg/arm at a time can help you with posture/core/hip weaknesses, so adding a few exercises like such can benefit you. . If you're just starting out your work out journey, don't rush to do the exercise of the month, even something simple like bicep curls (1 done at a time instead of a barbell) will be a great way to start focusing on your right/left strengths. . surprise! videos of me actually doing things in the gym lmao. got in a good leggie workout the other night since i got my blood drawn and was scared af to use my arms 😂 here’s what i did / what i failed to film — 1️⃣ 6 x 10 hip thrusts (didn’t film) 2️⃣ 3 x 10 smith machine narrow stance squats (didn’t film again lol) 3️⃣ 3 x 10 single leg hip abduction 4️⃣ 3 x 10 KB side lunges (repeat on other side) 5️⃣ 3 x 10 KB deadlifts 6️⃣ 3 x 8 curtsy lunges (repeat on other side)
