Hey guys, my name is David and I'm here to join the #bookstagram
community. Doing so as I recently picked up reading again in a way I think I always wanted to. Also, a friend of mine, @longdistancereader
gave me the push. I must say, I'm grateful for both.
As for myself, I'm a hungarian currently living in Ireland. I studied literature then films in college, things I like the most but used for nothing in life so far. That made me angry with myself too many times now to eagerly look for what I am good at, and so now I'm trying to focus on the things I enjoy and not to focus on what I think of myself or better, what others might be thinking. (Still, if there'd be an Olympics of people's worth presumptions of me and each other, I'm there without training.)
What is that to do with this page. I'd be trying to share my readings of course that are mainly around sci fi, classics, books that had been adapted to films I like. Or even better if I share how I summarised to @longdistancereader
recently: if the book contains the following topics: evolution, space odyssey, humans' fate, a little philosophy and a lot of depression - I'd probably give the Pulitzer for it, no questions asked. I'll be sharing these in a way that hopefully presents how I felt during reading, sometimes I'll put a lot of effort in the photo editing side of this, but I'm sure you won't be mad if I don't go to the edge of the world for every photo I take. (How much ever I want to.)
I'm stretching this introduction too far now to believe anyone would be interested in reading any further, so I just hope we'll have a lot of good conversations around these books we share with each other. Hence, if you ever have any suggestions, please feel free to dm me or leave a comment, there's never enough books in my want to read list.
