Tempranito editando un nuevo video pero alguien no me deja usar mi silla de escritorio...
¡Qué pasen un bonito jueves!
Got my workout in. Now time to unpack my new classroom in our new building!
One of the first games that I bought back in 2014 when I started this #hobby
. It’s still in my collection, and I still like it. #pandemic
CHAMPIONS OF MIDGARD || "Goodbye axe man, thank you for your sacrifice!" || I really love this game. The dice, the worker placement and how some locations are constant but others really change how games play, the monsters, the resource collection and how you're never sure you have enough of anything and so sometimes you just go bravely forth. I love how Valhalla allows you to recover when you roll badly and your warriors die. I love the Dark Mountains and the archer dice, and how sometimes the new journey encounters are actually good for you. I love the chicken boat! Even though it probably cost me the game as I was constantly feeding it my reroll tokens. I should've just bought by own boat.
I played it with just two for the first time and you'd think a worker placement would feel less tense with the board so open, but that wasn't the case at all. Sometimes we went for different goals, sure. But there were still times when we stepped on each other's toes and grabbed things from under each other's noses. I'm relieved by this as now I can confidently recommend this game at all player counts.
Was so happy to get this game back to the table. With the tile variability, auction, and placement strategy Isle of Skye is just so well done. Every game is different and forces the players to switch up their strategy with each play, yet the rules are simple enough that it’s accessible for just about any gamer, experienced or new. .🐂🐑
You know what’s crazy about this hobby? It moves so fast. There are so many new and exciting games that come out that sometimes great games get left in the dust before they even had time to get tired. We hardly hear anyone talk about Isle of Sky anymore even though it won some big awards just a couple years ago, which got us wondering... what are some of your favorite but perhaps forgotten games? .

Cada um tem uma ideia de aconchego, né? 😊
The butcher rolled into our settlement. The faces of his past victims stretched across the dozen lanterns that hung from his armour. The Butcher knows nothing but how to bring fear to the survivors. He collects the lanterns and skinned faces of his victims, a perversion of the humanity that echoes inside its near hollow armor. We managed to beat him with no deaths of our own. Very hard fought battle for Lantern Year 4.
This is Kingdom Death Monster.

So far so good. We only had the chance to play 2p, I can't wait to see what sort of havoc is going to be unleashed once another player (or two) join in 👊👊Which expansions (apart from the 5th player) do you have? Which are worth getting?
Also am I the only one who has the strongest feeling to 're watch all seasons of Vikings after playing this game? 😬

Packing games to take with me on my 'staycation'. We're dog sitting at my parents house for a week and intend to play lots of games in between dog cuddles. These are the games I've chosen from the shelf of shame. Pandemic Legacy we have started but haven't played in a long time! And the little one on top is a new game to preview.
