I might not be jacked or shredded with an aesthetic body of a god but I’m so much better than I was almost a year ago. I have muscles and abs actually coming through and I can look in a mirror and not feel like a fat fk, rather I am proud of what I see and what I’ve accomplished. I’ve dieted for the past 10 months and have been lifting hardcore for about three months and I’m already in the best shape of my life. I was a heavy 240 lbs and in this profession you can’t take a back seat approach to your health. If you can’t hold your own because you’re out of shape, then you’re a liability and a danger to yourself..and it’s all on you to take control of your fitness and health. I don’t workout or diet to look good because I know I’m far from that..I do it because I have a family that is depending on me walking back through that front door after my shift. I owe it not only to my coworkers but to my family to be in the best shape possible to keep fighting for them. -
HUGE shoutout to everyone that came out to the Lift Off today! 🏋🏻♀️Today was my first time competing in anything of this sort.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Moore County LEO, to all of the local businesses who so graciously contributed, and to everyone who competed and made this year a success!!! It is all so greatly appreciated! @anytime_fitness_southern_pines you guys rock!!!! 💜💜💜 Photo Credit goes to them as well.
I am making this post to start documenting great memories that I have at work...I wish I started from the beginning but this is a great start. Today I was driving through the park when I saw Batman; he started waving and I knew I had to meet him. He loved the lights on our car and was so intrigued by all of it. Both him and his friend had such huge smiles on their faces and I knew my job was done today. Any day I can come to work and connect with the community in this type of way is priceless and so important. I ended our interaction with giving both of them the same NYPD patch thousands of cops wear every day. I am blessed to have the opportunity to possibly leave a great impact on a child's life. No matter what I do, if I have this kind of interaction then I know I did my job and my day is complete. #NYPD#NYPDProtecting#NYPDConnecting#ThinBlueLine#Blessed#CommunityPolicing#Greenpoint#NewYorksFinest#94Precinct#backtheblue#bluelineflex#thinbluelinefamily#bluelivesmatter#thickblueline
