I was bullied a lot for being different from everyone else. I remember waking up and dreading walking through those school doors because I knew what was coming. Being made fun of for who you are is probably one of the worst feelings ever. I’m sure some of you can relate. School was really hard on me growing up especially middle school. The bullying turned physical and it really had an emotional toll on me. I’m grateful that my family stayed by my side to pick my up during those hard times. Looking back at it now, I can see how much stronger these experiences have made me. Life is not easy. There’s going to be storms. Never give up on yourself. Just keep going because the rainbow is right around the corner. 😊

Yeah believe it or not Iv heard people say “Its cold out I don’t need all this water” From playing sports for over 15 years from elementary school all the way to the collegiate level I have witnessed many teammates and opposing players pass out as well as suffer from mere organ failure, in all weather conditions. . Drinking 100-120oz of water a day should ensure proper hydration for both men and women and you should take in considerably more on days of excessive heat and intense training! . For those who say #keto doesn’t work - I have one thing to say, seeing is believing. Those people only motivate me more to prove a point. I’m only down almost 30 pounds but I feel better, I can breath better, I’m no longer on blood pressure medicine, even tying my shoes is no longer a challenge. I’m not going to lie, it feels good knowing your clothes are to big. People told me without carbs I’d have no energy - surprisingly I have more energy now and feel even stronger in the gym. Getting ready for our work week... here’s how I break down a huge @costco bag of chicken. ..... 1. Defrost completely so nothing gets watered down ..... 2. Put 1/3 in the crockpot with a can of Rotel and a can of enchilada sauce, and forget about it. ..... 3. Find two other marinade recipes like the Spicy Hoisin @geniuskitchen and the Honey Mustard from @laceybaier . Substitute to make it work with what you’ve got (powder ginger instead of fresh, regular mustard instead of stone ground etc) ..... 4. Label two gallon ziplocks and put them inside wide mouth mason jars then mix your marinades right in there (Hooray no dirty dishes!!). ..... 5. Rinse the other 2/3 chicken off and put half in one bag and half in the other. ..... 6. I’ve come a long way from the woman I was a few years ago. I was in a mentally and physically unhealthy place. I just got sick of where I was in life. I knew deep down that I am better than that. So I changed. I changed everything. I changed my diet. I changed my friends (yes, who you hang around is a reflection of YOU) I focused more on school, and really got into working out and taking care of my body. I’ve overcome so much and I’m proud of the woman I am today. 💜 - The moral of this story is if you aren’t happy where you are in life change it. The only person that’s in charge of your life is you. You have to make that change if you want true happiness. Change is not easy but the reward is so worth it. You can do it!
Day 3 of doing my own programming. Today was okay. Definitely going to add in another circuit next time. . Circuit 1 4 rounds 12 backsquats 12 smith machine hip thrusters 12 (each leg) single leg being get-up 12 (each leg) banded kick backs . Circuit 2 4 rounds 15 leg press into 20 calf raises 12 lying leg curls 12 seated leg extensions . Run 1 mile Walk on an incline 10 minutes . I took the last picture because today when I stepped on the scale, I hated what number I saw. Then I put on these leggings that used to give me the worst muffin top. And today, no such thing. . I wanted to share this because people should know that the scale is just a number. Judge your weight loss on how you feel, and how your clothes fit. Don’t get so tied up and discouraged based on what you see on the scale. . Now home to play with the pups, meal prep, nap, and clean before shift tonight.
