OPENING telepathic neural pathways in the right brain can allow a deeper connection with animals, with nature, and with our own essence (depending on intention). These pathways show up in the following ways:
PICTURES. Imagined, visualized, or received telepathically. Imagining a lemon in your hand is a common exercise many teachers use. This channel opened up for me in my 40’s as a friend drove me to Sedona (1st time). I’d closed my eyes and suddenly saw the “Valley of the Sun” in brilliant color.
HEARING. I hear WORDS in the back of my head. If your hearing channel is open, and an animal is afraid, they may send a SOUND of pots and pans clanging to the floor, or a garbage truck passing (I don’t hear sounds yet). FEELINGS can be physical or emotional. An animal may want you to know their back is sore, and you feel a PHYSICAL pain in your back, or the paw hurts and your hand suddenly gets a cramp. Some people feel animals EMOTIONS as sadness, anger, joy.
SENSING / INTUITION / KNOWING — I’ve developed a strong Intuition and Knowing. I was driving back to Sacramento one time, from the foothills at dusk, when a deer ran across the highway in front of me. Though she had already crossed the road unscathed, I instantly hit my brakes, KNOWING a second deer was coming (?how?). It kept me from a head-on collision with that animal.
SMELLS may come to you when you ask an animal to describe where they are—a barn, the woods, etc.
Everyone is wired differently, and may have a predominant pathway already open. Mary Getten says the more we practice, the more the pathways open up.
