I'm a jinx and a liar. Doctors pissed me off by not seeing me in the morning when they said they would, to talk about 4hrs leave instead of 2hrs. So I took my 2 hours fuming. Did bank stuff, ate sushi with good intentions but it was all to much, the resentment at my treating team, for this morning and a lot of other things eg. not seeing people and not trusting people, and the sushi tasted fatty and the fatty switch flipped. I jinxed myself this morning saying no bingeing for 5 weeks. Supermarket. Money. Calories. That wonderful hum of nothingness but hand to food to mouth. Puking on the grass behind some trees. Getting vomit over my hands, feet and pants. Flushing in hospital bathrooms. I get back. Just in time. Doctor sees me, too late. Not even the psychiatrist, just the junior doctor, he's the only one I ever see. No psychologist, no dietician, no psychiatrist. He approved 4 hours. With me telling him my only purge was yesterday morning and that was largely the nurses fault. He's considering my weight loss "fluctuation", he believes I'm consistantly eating properly on leave. Overeating is the main reason for weight gain.
Here are top 10 things that could be causing you to overeat.
1. You eat trigger foods - You eat food that you crave for and tend in overeating. Try eating healthier alternatives of things you crave for.
2.You eat when you are bored - Many of my clients say we eat more when we have nothing to do. Try to keep yourself busy and munch on a carrot or cucumber.
3. Your diet is too extreme - Don't do fad diets. Mindful eating comes in role here. Eat everything but in right portion.
4. You are waiting too long to eat - Dont leave long gaps in between. You tend to overeat when theres too much gap between two meals. Try snacking on nuts when you feel the gap is too much.
5. You are tired - tiredness is often mistaken for hunger. First of all you need to get a good sleep and rest. And try eating healthier snacks.
6. You use food as a reward - Eating out on certain occassions and rewarding is okay but need to control when it becomes a habit to eat out or reward yourself with food.
7. You let your emotions take over - Study shows people end up overeating when they are upset or stressed. You should avoid getting yourself in such a situation and try to calm yourself by meditating or resting.
8. You are not eating mindfully - You tend to eat whatever comes your way without being mindful about how its going to affect your body.
9. You dont have supportive people - Having supportive people is the best thing. People should support you in. Your decisions rather than trying to make you crave for things.
10. Build up a habit - Try eating something healthy each day and include it in a daily life. Dont search for motivation to build one.

Okay so this week I was doing good so far and being in negative calories with all the exercise and restricting. Although I went to Costco today and bought an 8 pack of muffins and I binged on 8 of them. They’re 600+ calories each and then I binged on pb m&ms. I purged all of them and I still feel in my my stomach even though I purged and drank water and kept purging and nothing else was coming out. My stomach has been hurting all day. My total calorie intake has been 7400. HOLY FUCK. I am so ashamed but I’m trying to be honest with myself:’)
