when you get covered in beignet powdered sugar ... step into the nearest bubble shower 🚿🎭
Been meaning to post this! When we were living in Florida there was this local brand of Kombucha I used to love. I stopped drinking it when we left. Then I found this at my Publix and Tried it and loved it! #bigeasybucha #bigeasy #nola #familyowned #smallfarms
I think they may like each other.
🐙 Look at this beauty, sorry not sorry.
Don't watch my nails lol

We can't wait to head home to our dock at Mardi Gras World, but we will miss this beautiful view. ☀️
Personally I love it when restaurants offer different deals for different days of the week📆. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Big Easy does this from Monday-Thursday, and Thursday is Steak and Lobster night aka my favourite night 😍
For £25, you get a steak, half a lobster, chips, salad and half a bottle of wine which in my opinion is an absolute steal💰💰
I don’t usually enjoy chain restaurants that much, but Big Easy is a bit of an exception😋
It's Mardi Gras season in New Orleans!
I used to think Mardi Gras was a day or two of celebration, the last Tuesday before the Christian season of Lent begins. Then I learned that the carnival season in New Orleans goes on for more than a month!
Mardi Gras is the craziest time of year in New Orleans, and people go balls to the walls celebrating it. These are some of the kinds of flags people use to stake out a spot along busy parade routes.
Though Mardi Gras day itself isn't until the first week of March, parades and balls and other events are happening every weekend. As the holiday draws closer, festivities will only increase in number.
I wasn't originally planning on being here until Mardi Gras—the massive Kumbh Mela gathering in India was calling my name. But then I realized it'd be silly to go halfway around to India for a cultural festival when this wild time was right on my doorstep!
Yet another example of how my plans are ever changing and the importance of being flexible 😉
I'm stoked to share my first Mardi Gras experience with y'all in the coming weeks. Have any of you been to New Orleans for Mardi Gras before? How did it go?
Dawson and I just spent a long weekend in the #bigeasy
at the Keller Williams Family Reunion- a conference for mostly real estate agents 🤔
How we got involved and why in the world we ended up here has everything to do with jewelry and books and personal/business development (my favorite things 💁♀️) swipe right for a teaser of the story and check my story highlight KWFR for the full story 📖 ♥️
I took so many courses on time blocking and interdependent teamwork, healthy growth and working mission/vision/value based that my brain feels like the grinch’s heart when it grows three sizes bigger 💗 I’m going home supercharged and thankful for the opportunity to be so.
There were 17,000 people there 😳 all soaking in how they could go home and be the best in their industry- it was pretty powerful energy to be around. I don’t know of any jeweler conferences anything like this but I’m HAPPY to be an honorary member of their club and tag along for the incredible growth resources they make available 🙌
What do you do to re-energize yourself in your work? Life? Are books enough? Are you in a mastermind club? Do you go to conferences?
I’m curious, this stuff is like oxygen for me but I’d love to know what works for you!
Thank you again to @jaypapasan
for inviting us along for this weekend adventure- it was equal parts business and fun 🙌
