Speed, power, soft hands.. One of two Oklahoma alums taking the state of Ohio by storm, Joe Mixon has everything that you want in a workhorse running back. In 2018, Mixon showed that he can be an RB1 when healthy, regardless of the QB and WRs around him. Gio Bernard does play a factor when it comes to passing downs, but that shouldn't scare people away from drafting Joe Mixon in the second round. As Mixon continues to improve his own passing-down game, a large percentage of the Bengals offense should continue to flow through him next year.
2018 rank: RB10
Jordan 2019 rank: RB8
Aaron 2019 rank: RB8
Mixon should go in the early second round of most drafts, probably one spot above or below Nick Chubb. He makes a STRONG RB2 if you are that lucky, but we mostly recommend him as an RB1 to target if you take an elite WR with your first pick.
