Take at least 5 deep breaths like this to allow healing oxygen to energize your body and relax your mind. Do this throughout your day as much as possible. ⠀
In addition to reducing stress, allowing air to fill up your belly when you breathe can help to support good DIGESTION and healthy POOPS 💩 ⠀

Do not exercise 2 more hours the next day.. it just dehydrates you. It’s not your normal routine. It may feel better but it really doesn’t work.

It’s another Mixxy flow: Listennnnn Tribe. When your faith is allllll the way activated and your high is to touch as many people as possible in a day. Ooo weee that’s my daily goal. I say thanks daily to the conversations I have with the divine and the guidance that I receive whole heartedly. If this is a new activation for you...go with the entire flow. Do not look at the past person you were and beat up yourself and get mad or ashamed or irritated. Yes you CAN CHANGE. That doesn’t make you a fake believer or you are not true to yourself because others saw you as the old you for so many years. There is no time cap when it comes to spiritual growth. That means you evolved. What I will say is, do not deny your past either. If it was a dark, mean, hurtful past...take full responsibility and forgive yourself and take the time to reach out to anyone you know you have hurt in the past, you possibly put your negative energy on someone and tried to blame them for your issues, you were not mindful to them, you were not a friend, you jumped to conclusions and looked at others in a negative light without communicating. If you said sorry in the past but didn’t really mean it but instead you wanted to just move on
so you wouldn’t feel guilty. Go back and communicate. Don’t make shit weird. If you are about this love life...then take the time to communicate and plant new love seeds and grow with yourself and others and create a Tribe, squad, community, friends, family that is on the same positive frequency. Sending love and light always in all ways.

💗 CHOOSE LOVE 💗
For years I lived my life from a place of fear without knowing it. And it hurt. I knew it didn’t feel right but I couldn’t put my finger on *why* I was feeling so bad. Then one day, something shifted and my ego cracked a little and some love came in. That’s when I realized what was missing, and why I was feeling so bad. I was missing the love.
Now I *actively* choose everyday to live with love and light ✨in my heart. Sounds a little cheesy, but it’s true. And I’ve never felt more in my flow, more aligned with my purpose, and purely joyful.
Yes, it’s scary sometimes, and yes, there are days or times when I slip back into that fear. But then there’s that shift and the love comes back in and I choose, again, to be in my love bubble.
You have this choice, too. You can choose love 💗 every day. I know you’re ready for it ✨

The festive season, is often a time when triggers from the past and previous thought processes can return front and centre or hang around in our subconscious, unknowingly influencing our mood, behaviour and actions. It is also a time when the usual distance boundaries we have between us and others is compromised. Where we struggle to find alone time and say no to social engagements. 😬
This holiday period, be sure to set very clear boundaries around your time and what environments you want to be in and ones you want to avoid. Here’s some little hacks to help get you through the holiday period. ⚡️
1️⃣Block out you time and down time - like it is an actual appointment. And do not double book yourself. 😜 This time can be as short as 20mins or as long as a day. During this time schedule self-reflection and decompression time. Whether that’s mindfulness, meditation, yoga, journaling or walk in nature.
Whatever you do to be in the moment. These activities cause our brains to flick into direct experience, a different neurological process than our usual indirect experience.Direct experience actually calms us down by reducing the intensity of our brain waves (we move from beta to alpha waves) helping us calm down, reflect & destress. 😌
2️⃣ The issue is not the issue: have a diffusing plan and a stress busting plan before a situation. So rarely when we clash with another or lose our cool, is it about the actual situation at hand. This is because, most thoughts we have are actually based on previous thoughts. So it’s actually about all the things which previously happened or that you previously felt being brought into the present moment.
Knowing this, to treat the actual issue at hand and keep you cool, have a plan for how you can respond. That is, how can you bust your own internal stress before it gets projected as external stress. That starts with monitoring your own thoughts and choosing your own behaviour. Be conscious of your thoughts because they do create your actions. 👌🏻
Around this time of year is when those posts show up: “2019 is going to be great”, “2018 was a terrible year”, “I can’t wait until the New Year”...
And while I LOVE that you are looking ahead to future with hope and courage, I need to remind you of something. -
Happiness is not a FUTURE STATE, the date 2019 will not magically make you happy (if you’re like me, you will likely wake up hungover and feeling like 💩, happy new year lolz). -
Start now, so that 2019 doesn’t sneak up on you and you aren’t stuck wondering “but I thought I’d be happy”. -

I had a doctors appointment today. Just a regular check up but I was somewhat dreading asking the question I needed to ask. “When should I consider freezing my eggs?” It might sound silly to some but a few people have tossed this idea around to where it’s made me question my next step. I mean I’m no professional so I don’t really know the best thing to do in a situation that seems like an endless merry go round.✨
Of course, I’d prefer to not have to do this as it’s around $20,000 of which, on a teacher’s salary, I don’t have. Not to mention the fact, I never considered a life as a single parent, especially from the get go. ✨
After trying to conceal her half shocked face (which I appreciated) she told me that I have plenty of time. She was in the same boat I was in and when she moved back to New Jersey everything fell into place. She had all of her kids after 35 and that’s without most of the technology we have today. Her Christmas gift to me was “peace of mind”. ✨
The Universe talks in weird ways. Probably not a giant thundering voice but through other people, experiences, things that catch our eye. I needed that reassurance.✨
I reached out and grabbed that peace of mind and I’m paying it forward to you. Whatever “it” is, not only is it GOING to be okay, it ALREADY is okay. ✨

Self-control is broken into two words. Self and control. Who is the self, and who is that self trying to control?
It’s yourself isn’t it?
So the one who needs to be controlled is also the one who is doing the controlling. This is like saying that our eyes can see themselves. They can’t.
The eyes only see what’s in front of them. They are always performing their function of seeing. The controller, which is the Ego, the Thinker is also always being itself in the world, regardless of whether it’s good or bad.
The moment Ego tries to control itself it becomes, as Alan Watts said, a snake trying to eat its own tail.
It’s not only absurd, it’s impossible.
This is the reason why when we try to control our own behavior, we introduce other problems in our life which previously did not exist. We complicate our life endlessly.
Permanent transformation is a result not of self-control but of understanding. Self-control also has its place. It can temporarily subdue our worst impulses like anger or violence in the heat of the moment.
But anger doesn’t disappear this way, it only goes deeper and becomes stronger when controlled. Only understanding creates forgiveness which dispels anger and the desire to hurt someone, in the long run.
Control is a short-term measure which creates long-term problems. Understanding, on the other hand is a long-term solution which eludes those who are looking for a short-term fix.

One thing I miss most about AZ is def having Sedona so close by 😩
I remember when I was younger I would beg and beg my mom to bring me to Slide Rock in Sedona every summer (we often went multiple times.) It was seriously my happy place and I had such a blast each time.
Years later I found out that Sedona has the strongest energy field in all of the United States.
Other notable worldwide sites with the strongest energy fields include places like Machu Picchu, Stonehenge, and Easter Island.
It’s funny how children have such a strong sense of intuition and knowing of what they need to heal but we tend to lose that as we get older.
I feel like a major part of that is from adults doubting what children say and down playing their emotions so much that they start to shut down their intuition over time.
Idk exactly where I’m going with this, but I guess what I’m saying is to always remember children are little humans and often are much more in touch with things than we are so we shouldn’t be so fast to dismiss them.
I know this is something I will definitely intertwine into my parenting style once I have kids. What are your thoughts?!
Finally recovered from the weekend festivities! After a night of zero sleep worrying about all the things I need to worry about I spent the day ticking things off my to do list. I have made a conscious effort to remain calm and be productive. It’s felt amazing and tbh I need to hold on to that feeling and not slide down the slippery slope to my worried/stressed out state. #bemindful
EVER WONDER WHY WE WEAR WHITE?! 🧐 🐝 the answer is simple and evolutionary. In order to be able to evolve bees have had to protect themselves against predators who want to harm them. This usually comes in the form of animals who wish to eat their sweet honey and to do so they attack a bee's hive.
It just so happens that most of these predators/animals are dark in colour.
As a result, it is thought that overtime bees have learn to dislike dark colored animals who approach their hives. Therefore by wearing white, a beekeeper can approach and open the hive without the bees becoming defensive and attacking, decreasing the chances of the beekeeper being attacked/stung. 🐝 cool huh?!
