My latest post is a double dose of @omnipollo.
It’s been a long while since I’ve had a beer from the boys from Stockholm, Sweden. But in the past, I have found every #Beer
that I’ve tried to be pretty darn delicious. For me, Omnipollo are known for the awesome #BeerCanArt
and sheer creativity when it comes to their flavours. Would these two latest beers continue that winning streak?
First beer is #Pleroma
. This beer is a #RaspberryCrèmeBrûléeSourAle
. It brewed with Lactose Sugar, Raspberries, and Vanilla. Reading Crème Brûlée, I expected something much sweeter than what I got. Again, this is just my expectation vs reality. I thought I would almost have a dessert type of beer with a bit of sourness to it. It’s the opposite. The sourness of the raspberries are all over this with only slight sweetness from the vanilla and lactose sugar. The highlight is watching this pour as if I was about to drink Ribena.
Second beer is #Aniara
. This one is a #LemonPaleAle
. This has to be the most sour beer I’ve ever had. It is more sour than any actual sour ale that I’ve ever tried. It was like I was drinking a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice. This was sour warhead lollies in a can of beer. Both of these beers while not as great as the Stout Ice Cream range, I actually enjoyed them a lot. Two more winners from the boys at #Omnipollo
