“I have solved some mysteries, I'll admit, and I enjoy it, but I'm sure there are many other girls who could do the same.” — Nancy Drew.

here 📝 on this rainy wednesday i wanted to showcase my love for my longest running favorite female detective bad ass: miss nancy drew 🕷 although there are so many wonderful things i have learned from nancy drew, but the above quote summarizes the best thing anyone can learn from nancy drew is humility.
humility in social media? what? you say? but yes! #communityovercompetition
is not just one of my favorite hashtags on the gram, but also such an important message. i am so lucky to be a part of this community, and i am so lucky to be able to say that for the most part i have not experienced a barrage of negativity on here that was directed at me personally. but i have seen so much of what the ugly corners of the gram can be like, and I’ve experienced cyber bulling in my teens, as well as in person. and sure, sometimes i’ve felt insecure about my body but did the most part i think due to the incredible quality of this community, for the most part i just feel empowered, encouraged, and inspired by my fellow grammers! i always love responding to questions about edits or photography or bookstagramming in my DMs, and when ppl tell me they love my photos it feels surreal. when my friends on here break 10K or 10M or even 10 followers i am excited for them! one person’s success doesn’t mean there’s no room for you to succeed! there’s always room at the top, and at every stepping stage along the way. the important thing is to not lose who you are and why you started in the first place. we were given two hands so we can feed others as we feed ourselves (as audrey hepburn has said).
endless lifetimes of thanks to @silverfirebooks
for aiding me on my quest to complete my vintage nancy drew hardback collection. now i just need to decide if I want to display them like lara jean covey in @toalltheboysnetflix
QOTD: who is a fictional character you looked up to from a young age? why did you look up to them?
