Today I woke up wondering of this delicious homemade Tajine made by a friend in Casablanca,Morocco.
And here comes a reminder of my grandma that always said that the taste of pasta (she was from Puglia in south Italy )isn’t the same anywhere else as at home.
I often think at her when I prepare my food, I love to diversify and try new preparation and dishes of other country and cultures, and while traveling I’m in contact as much as possible with food to bring home as much as I can (literally)!
What I’ve learned is that everything in a good dish is important, even if the chef is the same and the ingredients are originally from that part of the world.
But a different climate, kitchen or even using a different water changes the result!
Have you ever prepared something at home that you’ve tried abroad? Well the taste is never as good as te original one ☝🏻 This reminds me how special it is to be open to try new things, the beauty of people when food is involved and the uniqueness of our world.
Throwback to this wonderfully painful moment in the Himalayas. Just before the sun came up, before I climbed shivering into my sleeping bag and wondered if I'd ever be warm again.
I keep forgetting to tell people that my book is still for sale in my store! (link in bio)

Our nature and animal loving kids were most excited today as we visited the Central Australian Desert Park, a zoo chock full of animals from central Australia in a beautiful natural environment. This facility is fantastic, it has the most incredible nocturnal house amongst many other exhibits. We particularly enjoyed the Aboriginal guides and drawing on their knowledge of the animals and the bush.
What they see when they look at the bush is the polar opposite to everyone else they see, water, food & medicine it’s so interesting, interactive and intriguing.
Today was our last day in the Alice, I have so much more I would like to share and show the kids, however, it will have to wait for another time we must keep pushing south.
I won’t say bigger or better adventure awaits, however, other adventures are fast approaching.

The moment the sun peaks it's head over the horizon is always a magical one. As the golden rays fill the valley, we stare in awe. 🌞
January 20th is a day dedicated to the social acceptance of disability and to honor the late Annie Hopkins, founder of 3E Love and creator of the International Symbol of Acceptance. ♿️ A couple of days ago, my daughter was invited to a party, as usual, my nerves set in immediately. You see, sometimes her disability means she isn’t able to participate. And accessibility doesn’t always mean accessible. But NO, not this time, my daughter’s 13 year old friend requested the party location be accessible. Her mom told me, that her daughter wanted to make sure my girl ♿️ would be able to attend and participate. I dedicate this post and awareness to that sweet child, who at such a young age already knows what it means to give acceptance. I will always be grateful to you and your parents for teaching you to love and accept without prejudices. ♿️ Much love and respect ✊ to you 💖! Enjoy this action-shot of my girl, totally delighted at the party, just being a kiddo!! #DayOfAcceptance #Jan20 #justakid #LilDrocks #DylaLatina #MomLife #MyGirl #ForTheLoveofLilD
My name is Chewey because I like to chew. I am a Mongolian cat, I don't really know what that means because I've never been to anywhere that isn't mongolia.
Smile, it me the birthday girl here. Doing what I love and loving what I do. Grateful for friends and another trip around the sun. Thank you for the awesome pic and gut busting laughs @jackielerz
As I sit here watching the snow pile up outside, I can't help but think of those early foggy mornings out on the kayak! Only three or four more months before we can get our kayaks on the lakes again 😀

Nothing like a visit to the snow dusted red rock 🏜.
¡Saludos desde Cartagena chavales!
A little slice of paradise ☺️
growing and twisting and turning. it definitely isn’t a linear path 🌿
Memories, some are good, some are bad but this one’s a great one for me because for the first time in my life i was on top of the highest hill of Tijuana and sharing the adventure with a lot of awesome talented people just made the experience even better, what a day that day, 2016.
i wish my DVD player still worked
💯So im probably just getting out of the theater when the post goes up. Went to see #dragonballsuperbroly
again and I bought this ticket before I even saw it the first time. No regrets.
Let's talk about something else though. I'm really not sure why my songs are rapidly getting more plays on soundcloud lately. 1k plays is nothing crazy but it's a new milestone for me.
My newest single 'Maybe' just got 500 plays in less than 24 hours and in proud if that. More importantly I happy that people are enjoying the music. I've had multiple people tell me they've been playing it on repeat and that it connects to them...
What more can I ask for. 🙏🏾 #beboundless @kennyboundless
First picture was the most scared I’ve ever been in my life.
It’s been a tad bit rainy out here in the North West... -
And to be honest, it’s been lovely. •
I’ve never minded the rain. -
Actually, I quite enjoy it.
It’s peaceful in more ways than just one. •
The sound of the rain hitting the leaves and the ground [even the roof]. -
The way it falls down through the trees [or down the windowpane]. -
The way that fog trickles in, making the world around you appear mystical...
Or should I say MISTical...
I hope that you are able to make the most out of your day.
And that you are able to enjoy in an any and ever aspect.
Happy Saturday, you lovely bunch of humans. ✨
