Haven't been feeling well, not sure if it's allergies or weather, but I needed to get back in the garage.
So why not kick off the week right with some chest and back for 40 mins...ouch.
I bought this top because it has an awesome back to it, without realising it’s super tight fitting. Thankfully, I have got my body into shape enough to confidently wear this cool top. However I did have a little moment today when doing sit-ups because of the dreaded “belly rolls”. Fortunately I am in a head space whereby I can metaphorically slap myself and remember EVERYONE has belly rolls doing sit-ups and to get over it, because I’m strong, fit, happy and healthy!!! #puttingthingsintoperspective

I like to wake up early get breakfast made & enjoy my coffee. ☕ We clean house & get all the laundry done. 🏡 I like to cook and prep some meals to eat for the week! Last week I was off. Wasn’t feeling myself and coasted. Fatigued, lethargic, and low energy plagued the week and I was ok with it. I did nothing to boost my energy. Nothing to motivate myself to do better and my instructor in my Friday spin class called me out.
The last couple of weeks I’ve been killing it with my fitness. Getting stronger, more fit and conditioned. What used to be hard and make me pant no longer does. The plateau in weight loss has become a plateau in fitness and that scares me.
It scares me because it forces me to do some serious soul searching and answering question I’ve spent most of my life ignoring. “Why don’t you ever kick it to the next level”? “Why are you satisfied with complacency?” I reverted to my introverted ways. Avoiding conversations, tasks, and tuned everything out. I ignored my responsibilities and became anxious. Then I became anxious because I was anxious. And now I’m anxious because I’m talking about being anxious.
I claim it!
I claim my time, my space, and my goals. I f-d up last week but this week will be different. This week will be better. This week will be successful.

We've been blessed to have power and minimal water intrusions/flooding at this time. We drive around Sanford this afternoon for a minute,Nate wanted to run to work and see if he was needed, (love his heart, integrity, and ethic). And so far most of downtown Sanford had minimal damage, and I was super impressed with the mobile command set up in the building that was formerly Kmart. NCDot and Duke Linemen were staged around various routes as well. #linemenaremyheros

Who has tried Bitchin sauce?! We discovered this dip at a farmers market in San Diego years ago. We were sad when we moved away and could no longer get it until one day we saw it all branded and on a store shelf in NorCal. This stuff is literally NUTS! No pun intended! We dip veggies into it when we are being good and chips into it on those other days 😜. It’s also super good on chicken and veggies as a little sauce without all the guilt AND it comes in a bunch of flavors! Check em out!

I couldn’t help but notice that today’s workout moves had a strong resemblance to well known dance moves (see my story for some examples). Thankfully I’m classically trained in dance (reference period 1995), so I totally smashed it, and certainly didn’t look like a complete maniac in the middle of the gym hahahahaha!!!! #dancelikenooneswatching
