Position: Shooting Guard
Draft: Milwaukee Bucks 2000 2nd round, 14th pick, 43rd overall
Michael Redd came into the league and didn’t play much, only appeared in 6 games. The next season, he appeared in 67 games averaging 11 points per game. By his 4th season, he became a full time starter after the Bucks traded Ray Allen to the Seattle SuperSonics. Redd averaged 21.7 points, made his only all star appearance, and made All-NBA third team. Redd was known for his long range shooting with his unorthodox form. But he was definitely a gifted scorer, able to put the ball in the floor and create his own shot. He tore his ACL and MCL in 2009, and could not stay healthy after that. He suffered the same injury in the same knee the next season. Redd averaged 26.7 points during the 2006-07 season which was a career high.
