It was another tough weekend for the men's 1st XV as they narrowly missed another win in a game that was again decided in the dying minutes, losing 22 -12 to @bserufc
last Saturday. Despite the cold and rain, our men's 2nd XV managed to make the most of the day and romped home with a convincing 36-13 win over Cinderford RFC.
This weekend we have five of our senior squads in action, with the men's 1st XV the only team playing at home on Saturday against our friends @guernseyraidersrfc
at Barn Elms Sports Centre. We'll be hosting the annual Ladies Lunch before the game, with a three course meal being served at 12:30pm ahead of the slightly earlier kick off time of 2:30pm. Everyone is welcome and if you would like to join, let us know by e-mailing Marty at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The rest of the men's squads are away, with our 2nd XV heading to Bishop’s Stortford RFC, our Occies away at Old Cranleighans and our Harrodian Vets playing at Bank of England Vets' grounds.
Sunday sees our ladies 1st XV back in action, playing their postponed game against @millwallvenusrugby.
Kick off is 2pm for this fixture and will be played at the BEST pitches opposite the clubhouse.
The support for our teams has been fantastic since the season started a month ago - let's keep the momentum up and head down to our men's and women's fixtures, our teams love to hear the support from the side lines!
