Looking to replace plastic baggies? We’ve used Bumkins for a few years now and love them. The ones you see here are the snack size, we also use the sandwich size. You can wash them in the laundry or the dishwasher. I buy them on Amazon. I use them for dry snacks like crackers and chips, and also for fresh snacks like strawberries and watermelon. Now I don’t have to worry about what’s in those plastic baggies I used to use or have my snacks smelling (and tasting) like chemicals. I’ll post the sandwich sized ones in my IG Story. If your trying to detox your household definitely give these a try.

The body is incredibly smart. So smart that it will give you signs that caloric intake is too low.
Unfortunately instead of listening, too often people associate these signals as some sort of mental test of weakness, that needs to be overcome.
Yes there are elements of discipline and challenges that come with a fat loss diet.... However there's a fine line between how far you push that boundary.
Some Signs to look for once calories are reduced.
Change in sleep pattern: Are you waking up in the middle of the night hungry? Are you struggling to fall asleep because of hunger? or even dreaming about food? ***
Brain fog: Mind goes wandering off without even realizing it. ***
Concentration: Can be associated with brain fog, but an inability to concentrate for long periods. ***
Intolerable hunger: Having hunger when trying to lose fat is normal, but are you just a little hungry or are you absolutley starving? Are you thinking about food or your next meal all day long?
Satiation: Can fall under intolerable hunger. Are you nowhere near satisfied after a meal? Are you starving only 30 mins to an hour after just eating?
Weight Loss: How fast are you continually losing weight? Unless you're severely overweight, anything more than .5% is too quick. The slower, the more sustainable!
Energy: Do you feel drained all day long? Do you feel as though you just need to sleep and can't function? Are simple chores now a massive struggle?
Motivation: Is training now just a grind that you don't want to do it but feel you have to? Do you just not want to be there?

We all want to be, it's just tough when work, clients, house duties and everything in between comes calling.
"There isn't enough time in the day to do it all!", I hear all the time. My clients practically scream that into the phone. I get it!
So what's the balancing act?
What's the secret sauce to getting it all done then having time for your family?
It's routine! Habits that make you more calm/present, less anxious, happier, more productive, efficient, more loving and you get more time back for the rest of your life -- the parts that matter.
Being a present parent is an achievement (This is why I launched the Be Present Box last fall. It takes work! One is not just born with the gift of perfect parenting, perfect bossing, and perfecting wifeing.
If you want to be more present, then work on YOU. Delete, delegate or defer the things you should not do. Carve out more time for your family. Leave work behind ('cause guess what? It will be there tomorrow, and the next day!)
Being a present parent is like depositing daily love tokens into your child's heart. They NEED it. And so do you.

To be able to totally empty your mind is an amazing thing and for most very hard to realise. I have found that most people need to work our way up to this goal through using various meditation techniques.
My own journey has been through, Tai Chi, Chanting, Free Sounding, attending Roz's Spiritual Growth Group, and personal practice.
So don't give up, the benefits of meditation are fantastic and one day you might not be counting your breath, chanting, watching a flame, but just sitting.
