Another 8 weeks in the books, and I'm actually awake at 4am. However, this wasn't intentional. After soccer, we had subway (at 9pm), my neighbor brought me zucchini bread, and I stole one of the kid's cookies. (Definitely more carbs than I've had all week). So, I'm pretty sure I went into a carb coma on the couch around 10:30 when thing #2
finally went to bed. (When will I get them in bed earlier??!!!!)
I've seen some great Transphormations in these 8 weeks. It's amazing what you can do in a short burst of time. Could I have made more improvements? Probably so. Do I have some excuses as to why I didn't? Certainly. Most of us live busy lives, and Honestly, I've been feeling a little burnt out trying to do all the things. (I didn't post this at 4am when I first typed it, because I feel asleep, and I'm not even gonna feel bad about it).
To anyone out there starting your fitness journey (or thinking about it), it's okay not be perfect and not to be at 100% all the time. Start where you are with what you got and make little changes that eventually add up to big ones. It's gonna take some work, and you might have to make some sacrifices, but if you stick with it, it becomes a lifestyle. Now excuse me, while I have 10 minutes to get ready for work.
