We make our homemade biscuits and bacon gravy fresh in house. The gravy is my moms recipe and we enjoy it every Christmas with biscuits from the bakery! Here's the recipe for you to enjoy at home. Ingredients: 1 cup fresh bacon grease, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon of fresh pepper, one teaspoon of salt, 6 cups of whole milk. Directions: put a nonstick pot on the stove on medium and add the bacon grease, when it turns to liquid add the flour, stir together until the mixture starts to boil, stir in the salt and pepper, stir in the 6 cups of milk. Constantly stir the pot with a whisk. As soon as the gravy starts to lightly boil, you're done! Enjoy! Now go mind your biscuits, and life will truly be gravy!
