Common Misunderstandings of FMLA (http://bit.ly/2XOusQQ)
FMLA is an acronym for the Family and Medical Leave Act. The purpose was for qualifying employees to be able to take leave from their jobs without the fear of retaliation from employers while tending to their medical needs. However, employees who have not worked for at least one year, or work for a company that employs less than fifty (50) workers are not eligible for FMLA. Read more on the Dworken & Bernstein website.

Show up for yourself. We would never not show up for work without notice, or skip a court hearing, or bail on an important meeting; but we have a really hard time showing up for ourselves. It's easy to skip the gym, or leave that book we've been meaning to get into, collecting dust on the shelf. But if you're going to show up for the things that other people schedule, on other people's time, and for other people's benefit-- you owe it to yourself, to show up for yourself, for the things that will benefit you 💯🙌🏽⚖️ Now back to my workout 👀🏋🏽♀️
Throwing it back to last week at the incredible CACM Law Seminar! Where our very own Steve Roseman Esq., Cecilia Brennan Esq., and Sean Allen Esq. spoke on panels about hot topics affecting communities. #throwbackthursday

Trial Guides is pleased to present a one-day CLE on June 19, 2019, focused entirely on traumatic brain injury cases. ⠀
This event is different from other brain injury litigation events because the faculty includes nationally recognized experts in neuropsychological testing, psychological defenses, neurological aspects of traumatic brain injuries, brainstem and autonomic nervous system injuries (including associated impacts on the visual and inner ear systems), and advanced brain imaging. ⠀
These images and tests provide objective evidence of a traumatic brain injury to supplement the historically valuable reports of the injured person and their friends and family. Each speaker’s lecture will take a deep dive into the issues most likely to impact your traumatic brain injury cases.⠀
Learn more about our upcoming CLE's [link in bio]⠀ And You can purchase the entire Demand Letters DVD set at TrialGuides.com

Solo-Practitioners wear three hats: Investor, Operator, and Employee. Don't cheat "you the investor" by being a sub par operator or employee.
Construction workers face a wide range of hazards everyday. When an accident occurs on a construction site they are commonly severe. If you or someone you know has been involved in a construction site accident call Attorney Dan Zohar at (800) 963-3311!
Even though someone says they’re good to drive, be sure to double check! Only 65 percent of the “designated drivers” had a 0 percent BAC level, and 18 percent of them had a BAC level of 0.05 percent or higher. #DoubleCheckYourDD
The Countdown is on !! 9 days left until I take my LSAT exam 💫
Great seeing one of our newest US Representatives @repshalala. @qrebekah
and I got to meet our former UM Dean from our time at @umlaw
today! Looking forward to seeing her do great work in DC.
This past December 2018, I moved one step closer to Law School! I graduated a semester early than my intended graduation date, I took no less than 15 credits for 4 semesters and worked full-time as well. I graduate with a 3.5 gpa after having one slump semester but I did it. Even thought his was my third college degree. I didn’t feel much of a relief , I think due to the fact I didn’t feel finished. So now I am headed towards a law degree 🤞🏽💫
Heyyy!!! Application #4
is in! @official_lsac
allows to submit applications, upload required documents for the law application process all online. Due to me not taking my LSAT until March 30th( Next Saturday 😫) the schools will not look at my application until my LSAT scores are released on April 19th. However it’s always better be pro active ! 3 more schools to go ! Maybe more 😉
‘The Kalief Browder Case’ is special. It is special because it solidified my future in making a change. As an Criminal Justice Reform Advocate, the most effective way for ME to contribute to this cause is to work towards a Juris Doctorate Degree & fight for those who are not able to or need assistance in doing so. The Kalief Browder case is an significant factor in me pursuing Criminal/Civil Law if granted admission into Law School.
