Alex Len's season has been relatively good compared to his previous years in Phoenix in terms of evolution in his game because of how his offensive game changed this year with the Hawks compared to last year when he was with Phoenix.
LAST YEAR with Phoenix, Alex Len averaged:
8.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.2apg on 20.2mpg. He shot 56.6% from FG and only shot 3 times from the 3PT Line. He played 69 games.
THIS YEAR with the Hawks so far, his averages are:
10.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0bpg on 20.3mpg. He's shooting 48.8% from FG and 28.8% from 3PT while attempting 1.8 attempts per game. A total of 73 attempts in just 40 games.
Ok, so his 3PT Percentage is not the best whatsoever, its actually below average at the moment, but hear me out, considering that he didnt shoot 3's at all in his first 5 seasons, Alex Len is for sure heading in the right path. If Alex Len keeps practicing his shooting and gets his percentage up to at least 30% this season, next season keeps it up and improves to at least 32% to 35% whilst averaging 10 to 12 points per game off the bench. Alex Len could genuinely be a decent big coming off the bench in the future. Its at least good to see that he acknowledges the path the league has gone to and that he is at least focused on improving and trying to become a reliable a stretch big who can also rebound well for a team coming off the bench. KEEP IT COMING ALEX!!! IM ROOTING FOR YOU!
