MID WEEK RECAP- 🏊🏻♀️🚴🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️ After racing Saturday my regular scheduled workouts continued on! Long bike Sunday, which I surprisingly felt good for, followed by a recovery swim/run Monday. 😏Fatigue is high this week and I’m feeling it. Definitely falling asleep sooner than I normally do..lol.. #needsleep
Trying to listen to my body and give it what it needs. I’ve taken a few more naps this week than I ever have. 🤷🏼♀️ And by nap I mean 2-3 hours 😂. Who else likes a good nap?? 🙋🏼♀️ I’ve kept some solid bike and run workouts in. My swim, eh not so much. I’ll catch it up this weekend. Sometimes you just gotta adjust. Definitely need to put some long lake swims 🏊🏻♀️ in before South Africa 🇿🇦. A little nervous about that ocean swim! There’s sharks 🦈 in there! My husbands comment to that was we should increase my life insurance policy 😂 ah, so funny he is..😏

Does posting on my bad days make it seem like all I do is complain? 👇👇 Seriously, tell me what your take is on people posting about being down... I want to know 👇👇 I haven’t posted in a bit because I’m struggling with a lot of things right now. 😓 I don’t want to post and pretend things are great and be all smiley, but then again, I don’t want to post and say things suck 🤷♀️ I don’t like complaining and I don’t want to come across as one who ONLY complains 🙄 but if I post and say I’m grand, then hey, that’s me posting a fake highlight reel and then again... not about that life 😏 but honestly... there are only so many posts about “waking up and finding what you’re grateful for” or “no bad days, change your attitude” that one can make... and guys those things are so much easier said than done 🌟 I TRY to focus on the positives, I TRY to change my attitude, but sometimes, it’s just hard and I need to feel how I feel and accept those emotions 💞 Random AF post, but I’m just speaking my mind a bit. I want to be real, but I don’t want to be the complainer. ⁉️

🔥 Powerlifting strengthens the muscles of your legs, back and upper body. Nearly every skeletal muscle is strengthened with a powerlifting routine. The squat works the muscles of your legs and hips better than many other training alternatives, according to a 2001 study published in "Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise." The deadlift strengthens your back and legs, and the bench press strengthens most of the muscles of your upper body. The few muscles that are not worked directly on these three exercises are trained using assistance exercises to improve the three competitive lifts.

Confidence is a stain you can’t wipe off. Fitness Tip - Ok so holding steady at a puffy 240lbs. I might actually start to cut down soon. I love adding size but I choose quality over just numbers. Doesn’t matter if the scale says 280lbs if it’s going to be mostly fat and water. However, one thing I will say that is true, don’t be scared to add a little fluff when putting on muscle. Just do your best to keep the fat gain minimal by controlling proper food intake. You can’t add good amount of size if you’re always worried about keeping your 6 pack. You will also look a lot better when you diet down AFTER gaining quality size. Don’t let the fat get out of hand either. There’s a fine line between bulking and getting fat. Also a fine line between cutting and getting skinny. Do what you makes you happy at the end. That’s my two cents.
