Quick sketch of a scene from a video about anxiety I was watching yesterday. Can you tell I had a day off? Hahaha. Boceto rápido de una escena de un vídeo sobre ansiedad que estaba viendo ayer. Se nota que tuve día libre ayer? Jajaja
100/100 I did it!! This is me, 100 days ago, blindly diving into this challenge. It was reckless, and it was impulsive....but I wouldn’t change a thing. Admittedly, I wasn’t perfect. I skipped a couple days here and there, but I always tried to be transparent and not beat myself up too much about it. Besides, that wasn’t the point of the project!
I started this challenge to remind myself to stay inspired everyday, to act when inspiration hit, and to let go of perfectionism. I am happy to report that I have learned many of the lessons I expected to learn, but one thing took me by surprise. When I was scrolling through my Instagram feed I realized that I had built a journal. I created artifacts that when organized in sequence, recorded the last 100 days. I remember where I was when I created each piece and where I found my inspiration. Ordinarily, I would walk blindly through life and likely struggle to remember where I was three weeks ago. Now I have visual reminders that tell me not only where I was but who I was with and what I was feeling on that particular day - and I think that’s pretty friggin cool!! I am excited to have a break to work on bigger projects, but I am already thinking about how to make my next challenge even better.... That’s right, I said NEXT CHALLENGE
Thank you for your continued interest and support ✌🏻❤️ 💯

Gravity, love, the forces that draw us together and make us. Learning to be more than just me. Meditating on the positions of the sun, moon and earth.
Quote for the day... Mary Cassatt - an American painter and printer. An Impressionist painter who profiled the average, daily lives of women and their children.
Shades of red! Another night of prepping and spine reinforcement for all my journaling products for the holiday season...
Still working on my stack of journal. I decided to work on them a little each day, I am really enjoying this play time. I did finish a page in my mini journal.

Confession time *artist edition*
I see a lot of people taking wonderful, well orchestrated photos with their art. I really wish that was me, but I’m more of a “post a picture of myself with a ridiculous Snapchat filter on the apartment floor while clumsily holding my at-the-time new art supplies” type of gal. I am so very passionate about art, but to be honest, I feel like I haven’t found my exact style yet. I get lazy sometimes and don’t work on my art pieces for days - or weeks - or hell, let’s be honest, months at a time. I get envious of artists who have successfully turned their talent into a full time career. I feel like I don’t put enough time into becoming better. Even though I have a degree in fine arts, I still feel like I’m not far enough along in my art journey. BUT guess what? I’m passionate about it. I think about it all the time. I am, by nature, an artist. And no matter how long I put off a drawing or where I’m at in my journey or if I only bust out one drawing this year, I will always have an unbreakable bond with my pencils and paper.
