In this world, where humans have lost their capacity to speak, the ones who evolved have reached the latest, most advance form of existing. Now, they see no need to vocalize their necessities. Since they've acquaired the hability to comunicate telepathically between them, and they can now create the most screeching sounds when in danger... They can forget about weakness, since their mind controls all what surrounds them, and can cause catastrophes whenever they need.
They must not be bothered, since their new lack of empathy and material desire does not allow to negotiate with others... And the so called "princess", being she the first of the evolved, will watch with mistrust and suspicion those who get too close to their territory. .

Vanessa Bowman's still life portraits of plants, fruit and flowers have a distinctly retro touch - tastefully echoing the geometric kitsch of 1970's prints. Fruitbowl on Fern Plate, Bowman, Vanessa / Private Collection / Bridgeman Images

Anthony Butera wonderfully capures the characteristic architecture of New York in his building facing paintings, usually with one or two people going about their daily lives nearby. Tokyo-based artist Hiroyuki Izutsu keeps to a motif within his work - "human", "landscape", "flower" and indeed, the imagery in his work seems to adhere to this. His delicate works depict country life in Asia, typically though not always Japan and the surrounding area.

Quick to anger, slow to calm down?
Did you know that anger has physiological effects, such as the reddening of the face, rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms and burning stomach as our muscles tighten? No wonder then that some studies have made a connection between anger and an increase in stroke and heart attack. The techniques that some people use to then quell the anger deal with these physical symptoms of anger rather than the emotional aspect.
We at Conquer Gear like to deal with anger using humour. Our anger towards sexism, for example, resulted in a print with an apple with a not-so-hidden vagina, the Vaj-apple. We use humour to highlight these issues and have these uncomfortable conversations!
Don't give yourself a stroke or heart attack from anger, have more belly laughs and diffuse that tension!
. If you've met us at @spitalfieldsE1
you would have experienced this not just through our illustrated tees but hopefully by chatting to us! We're there from Thurs-Sundays and we're always up for a good natter, so don't be shy and pop by at the market or even here, we're pretty good at responding quickly!
If you own a Conquer Gear Garment, chances are they have been drawn by Tomoya Hiramatsu! I was flicking through the large collection of Tomoya's illustrations and found face studies of a past Conquer Gear graphic designer Hass!
