I was finally able to try @nomads_fayetteville
for brunch with my friend @godblessamaryca
and I understand all of the hype!! I’m not a big drinker and am definitely far from an expert, but I thought their mimosas were super fun and delicious. They’re known for their expansive list of mimosa offerings and we tried a few wild flavors along with the original mimosas and thought they all were delicious. We got a fruit plate to split (totally worth $4!!!) and I got the “Voyager” (hemp bread French toast with peanut butter, agave nectar, walnut-apricot crumble, berry purée, and strawberries) for my meal. This was pretty much a fancy ingredient hot peanut butter & jelly sandwich and I loved it!! I was kind of skeptical about the bread because I’d never tried it and don’t like super grainy breads, but it was really good and I’m glad I ordered it! Mary got “The Other Brother,” a frittata with mushrooms, charred spinach and greens, tomato, asiago and parmesan cheeses, and pesto served with hash browns. Hers looked very colorful and the hash browns looked good. She enjoyed it and we both ate just about everything on our plates!! The seating is limited inside and the wait can be crazy so I definitely recommend getting there either close to opening or after the main brunch rush, but honestly this place is worth a little wait if you find yourself in the neighborhood!
