"Because I don't make art" - Today I had a long discussion on Facebook. Some people told me, I'm not making art, because I often use reference fotos. I argued that I'm self taught, full-time working mom of two kids and don't have the time to work from nature. But all these arguments didn't count. They gave me the advice to take weekend classes, where I can work from nature, so I can do it the "right" way. This would be much better, than doing it wrong, like I do. I was so upset. I know, my way to create is very unusual, because I'm not focused on one medium or one subject. This conversation really confusede so much, it made me sad and angry too. It's very important for me, to get honest feedback, as long as it is constructive. Because that's the best way to work on my skills and to be able to grow. But not that way... For all of you out there, who support me thank you so much. Thank you for being a part of my artistic journey and taking the time to read this post till this point. Wishing you a great day and greetings from Germany!
