Decaf coffee drinkers, what’s your favorite brand? I 💜💜💜 coffee, but realized the caffeine was messing up my days. The highs, lows, and anxiety it produced was just too annoying. I switched to decaf and all of those issues went away! I wake up with energy, fall asleep as my head hits the pillow, and the tiny bit of anxiety that is just part of my DNA is completely managed with magnesium (wonder supplement!) The only problem now is finding good decaf, as choices are so limited. Suggestions??

This doesn’t mean you have to miss out on treats!
But it does mean that you need to listen to your body and workout what your unique body thrives on.
Food affects not only your physical health but mindset & emotions.
Exercise that you enjoy preferably incorporating some strength training.
This doesn’t mean you have to be a bodybuilder!
And it doesn’t even mean that you have to lift weights.
Strength training can simply be through your own body-weight.
Strong body, strong mind.
Consistency with daily habits that support a healthy lifestyle.
Routines that are a priority over anything else that facilitate your health in both body and mind.
Nourishing your mind is of equal importance to nourishing your body.
Incorporating daily practices to feed your mind, foster a positive mindset and disengagement from negative influences.
MENTOR/COACH over THERAPY
Traditional therapy is generally talking over and over(!) about negative past events.
Which only keeps them active in your vibration, thoughts and therefore your life.
Coaches support you to make changes in the now to move you towards your goals.
Finding what sets your soul on fire and incorporating into your life on some level injects passion into every other area of your life!

There’s a lot of stuff in my life that I wouldn’t choose, but there is nothing that I would change. Every obstacle, challenge and struggle has equipped me to help others.
It takes breaking to get the blessing.
It takes conflict to get to the calling.
It takes weakness to get the STRENGTH
Yes it is true, I can’t choose what happens to me, but you know what? I can choose my response.
So when God won’t remove the chains I want him to, I boldly ask him to use them. Maybe the struggle is meant to change me, maybe the struggle is the result of some of my own choices, and then again maybe my struggles are meant to help change someone else.
Your choices are so powerful my friends.
Even a small choice can create a ripple effect for days, months and years to come. They can impact you negatively or positively, it’s all up to you, so be mindful and own each and every one!
Remember, your choices become habits & your habits, well they become automatic.
Make the CHOICE to keep doing the things that keep you well. 😘
Yes, there will be days you want to quit. It will not be easy. But a year from now when you look back on how far you have come, you’ll know the daily choices to better your health were worth it. 4 completed programs in 2018, and my first program for 2019 is selected and ready for a test run!!

“My anxiety and depression started before birth, and has carried on through much of my life. A lot of people think I’m crazy when I say I remember my mom carrying me in utero, but really I’m serious. Much of my moms pregnancy with me was stressed. I can hear the yelling and fighting. My mom was in and out of jail. She even lost my siblings because she was unsafe. I experienced that episode “inside”. In my sleep I can still sometimes hear her yelling. I am 24 and noises scare the heck out of me. I watch movies on silent and read the subtitles. For the longest time I slept in an awkward fetal position, somehow it felt safer than all sprawled out. A couple weeks ago in a counseling session I was told a very similar story about another person and for the first time in my life I felt heard. I felt understood. Life is precious and it is so fragile. It needs to be protected.”. .
Crazy how different our experiences can be... here we see the truth behind how what happens to a baby’s mother while he/she is still in the womb, can have a massive affect on the child after he/she is born! 😭💛

Vitamin D will forever be a struggle for us Canadians, especially in the winter time. Furthermore, it’s a struggle for those of us with a VDR genetic mutation, which means we genetically have a harder time creating vitamin D from the sunlight
Vitamin D is actually a hormone, and It plays a big role in your metal health and well-being. Being deficient in it can also worsen period pain and PMS! And for those who are on or coming off the pill, you may be at even higher risk for a deficiency! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The best way to absorb vitamin D is obviously through your skin from the sun, but that’s not always possible for some of us (👋🏼 hi my #nightshift #nurse
sisters). In addition to my D supplement, I try to incorporate foods such as tuna, salmon, and egg yolks into my diet, because they’re rich in the D’s. 🐟 🍳 🍣 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Intrusive thoughts come from protective parts that live in your psyche. These parts have developed roles to protect vulnerable parts called exiles that carry pain from childhood. When you can understand that intrusive thoughts are coming from a fearful, protective part of you, you no longer have to be pulled into the storm of anxiety. You have the choice to turn towards these parts and get to know them better and find out what exactly they are protecting you from!

I just left my dentist and got my new Invisalign trays and I’m officially halfway through my treatment plan which means by end of Spring I’m going to have white straight teeth for the first time in my life which is super exciting for me.
I’ve been thinking lately about habit and how habit either makes or breaks us. It has become habit to have these trays in my mouth 22 hours a day to work. It’s a daily thing. One day off will get me off track but not totally derail me. But if I am consistent and do what I’m supposed to, my lifetime goal of white, straight teeth is achieved. *
It’s the same as my health and weight loss journey. I can either lean all the way in and make little tiny decisions daily like avoiding sweet treats, too many carbs or processed foods and eating enough greens, fruits, drinking enough water and exercising and following a workout schedule made for me or skipping workouts because I’m busy and prioritize other things.
It’s the daily little decisions we make that add up to reaching our goals or falling short. I don’t know about you but I’m tired of falling short so it’s that time to level up and push daily. Making excuses will never get me there. Being unshakeable in my promise myself to reach my fitness, financial (and straight teeth 🤣) goals is the only way to get there. So here’s to habit and being your own keeper of goals and promises to yourself. *
