The winger has endured a difficult year due to ankle problems and another recurrence could see him call it quits. Coman could bring a premature end to his football career if ankle injuries persist. Coman is just still 22, he is regarded as one of the most promising young players in the world, but fitness problems have severly restricted him in recent years.

Just about this time last year I had ankle surgery! I’ve never had any type of surgery, so this was all such an experience for me. I had this done due to a soccer injury. Before this I was super active, played soccer, went to the gym often, just did active things!! Afterwards....well let’s just say before I started this program the last time I ran was the 2 mins on the treadmill for PT in April... this was the hardest time for me. I felt unmotivated, weak, tired all the time and just overall not myself. It was a long...annoying recovery but here I am!!! A year later but I am finally starting to feel like myself again! A few days ago I was able to run 5 straight minutes on the treadmill...now that may not mean anything to you but to me it means everything! Before the surgery I wasn’t able to drive for a long time, walk, stand, run anything. Obviously once I had the surgery and the recovering months I couldn’t really do too much either. But now!!! I’m working out every day! I’m probably the most muscularly fit I’ve been since my first year of college and I’m so proud of where I am! It took a while for me to get my motivation back but I have it and I feel so good! Im so thankful I found this program and that I decided to take this leap and start my own fit biz!! Can’t wait to see where this brings me in the next few months!! ______________________________________________________________________

For those of you that don’t know, I have been in this boot for exactly 6 weeks now. I was diagnosed with a sprained ankle 4 weeks ago by my doctor after an X-ray was taken. This is actually my second time spraining this ankle; the last time it was sprained was last year, meaning I have to be more careful with how I treat it than before so that I don’t sprain it again. Unfortunately, I will not be using physiotherapy to recover, instead I will be doing exercises advised from my doctor and fitness YouTubers. Recovery time for this sort of thing typically takes 6-8 weeks and this is the sixth week. For now I’m staying away from sports and decided to alternate keeping this air-cast on and off for this week. No more Christmas cast! Stitches were removed, and I get this ugly boot for 3 weeks then I’ll start PT! Doc said my ankle looks great with just a little swelling and will be sore for a while. I can slowly start walking with my crutches and bearing weight now. AND I can shower woo hoo. Guys, look at the difference between my thighs. One is strong and firm, the other is weak and floppy. My left leg has been so unused that the muscles atrophied, they feel liquified. My calf is the same! The strong muscles i developed from running, squatting and skating are gone. But my left knee is bigger now, probably from the knee scooter. I can't wait to start physical therapy so i can gain back strength on my left leg again! Atuando de forma local, além de reestabelecer a mobilidade, deve-se trabalhar a estabilização articular, fortalecer a musculatura intrínseca (footcore) e periférica e dar estímulos de ativação muscular (trabalhos de equilíbrio ou proteção articular). Em uma visão mais global, é importante realizar uma avaliação completa para atuar em fatores causais que predispõe ao entorse.
Em sequência, no primeiro vídeo é mostrado o trabalho intrínseco, o footcore, utilizando o miniband. O miniband força a queda do arco plantar e o cliente é instruído a tentar manter e aumentar o movimento.
No segundo vídeo, fortalecimento da musculatura do tornozelo isolada, contra a resistência elástica, é pedido para o cliente realizar os movimentos de inversão, eversão, flexão plantar e dorsal, evitando compensações.
No terceiro vídeo, trabalho de proteção articular e treino artrocinemático respectivamente. Let's talk dynamic control of the lower extremity.
Dynamic control is essentially the ability to control the leg during movement. These drills are great for athletes, but they have nice carry over for any population. They can be modified by weight of ball, speed, and foot stance.
Rotational control is usually not a commonly worked on in many programs, even though many people perform rotational movements/activity in life (golf, baseball, tennis, etc)
1️⃣ Bilateral/Unilateral Windmill med ball slams
2️⃣ Bilateral/Unilateral med ball catch single leg
3️⃣ Bilateral/Unilateral overhead slams
I really like to use the asymmetric slams going medial/lateral to examine how well someone can control rotational movement while producing force.
🔑 The body moves in 3 planes, so throw in some exercise drills that work in 3 planes.

Havi is dealing with a severe ankle sprain and dealing with me inflicting productive pain on her foot ... we are working to be back soon.
Look at challenges not as burdens but as opportunities.
Enduring an injury allows athletes to really work on muscles they have never worked on before, creating muscular balance and doing tedious day in and day out work that will allow them to reach their full potential . Personally I'm currently 💜💚🧡 but plan on 💙💚 in January (hopefully not 🧡 with the ankle by then!!)
So it’s been just about 3 months since I tore and rolled my ankle. I had a sever roll because I at least tore something in my foot. (No I didn’t go to a doctor because personally they usually suck and waste my money ie shoulder) You can see in the first pic that I have a extremely swollen foot, bruised (which pic didn’t do justice), my ankle up into my calf was swollen and so was my foot. Today 95% of the swelling has gone away. There is one small spot that hasn’t gone all the way down yet and flairs up when I push my ankle but the rehab I do and stretching has helped tremendously. It’s amazing how long things can take to heal. It was difficult to elevate and rest as much as I should of due to my profession but I’m starting knees and kicks again and I’m just about back to my weights for leg day. 3 months ago I injured my ATFL in a bike crash. Turns out it was partially torn, my arch collapsed and my ankle was unstable which put my knee out. I couldn’t walk for a week and only able to start running properly on it now! After 3 sports massages, 2 physio session, lots of cycling (its not as harsh as running but still builds strength and breaks up scar tissue 🤷🏻♀️) KT taping and rolling it out it’s finally feeling almost normal! So I felt defeated the other day because of my foot and ankle! -
It hurt when I tried to put shoes on the other day too! -
Well I’ve been a good girl, wearing my brace and it feels amazing today! -
I’m not lifting heavy weights, and it hurts more when I do push-ups on my toes or anything that makes me pivot or jump! -
So I still got my sweat on— super modified but it’s done and I feel amazing!
Going to modify different workouts until I feel great so I won’t be doing a specific program until the test group that starts in January! -
