Owning the Halong waterways..... like a boss 🛶☀️🇻🇳❤️
Have you tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee? The popular way is to add sweetened condensed milk ‘cà phê sữa đá’
I don't want this to be like the mandatory part of all talent shows on TV, where everyone has to feel pity for the poor subject. But it is important for me to be honest and open about some of the things I am going through on our big adventure with our travel blog. I hope that this will create some awareness about the fact, that so many of us are struggling with invisible scars, that isn't visible on Instagram 😉
Thank you all for your support in this and you can find a link in my bio ❤️

Thank YOU so so much! 😍
Btw. This photo is a nostalgic TB to beautiful Hanoi ❤️
Hue was the capital of Vietnam for 143 years, and is a city rich with history. If you visit Hue, you won’t be disappointed by the number of historically significant sites you can visit. One such place we visited was the Khai Dinh tomb.
The tomb of Khai Dinh, known for its fusion of eastern and western design/architectural concepts, is the smallest tomb in Hue. It was also the most expensive to construct (a lot of the materials were imported from France), and the longest to build coming in at 11 years before completion.
If you’re interested in visiting this place, here are our protips for visiting the Khai Dinh Tomb:
• The tomb is 10km from Hue in Chau Chu village. You can take a taxi or a ‘Grab’ (the equivalent of Uber in SE Asia), or a motorbike and it should take about 15-20mins from the city centre.
• There’s an admission fee of 100000 vnd per adult (roughly $6 Canadian) but if you’re planning on visiting a number of heritage sites in Hue, there’s a package deal where you can get a reduced total price for 3 or 4 sites (once you use them within two days of purchasing the tickets).
• Don’t bring the stroller. There are a total of 127 steps before arriving at the top palace where a statue of Khai Dinh marks the spot where he’s buried in the main temple.
• Get there early if you want to view this place in peace. For such a small tomb, it gets incredibly busy incredibly early. We arrived around 11am and there were busloads after busloads of tour groups being dropped off at the entrance.
Do you know anyone visiting Hue? 🇻🇳
