Take flight with notes of ginger, citrus, and spice in this cold-weather take on a Belgian-style wheat beer. First born on our pilot system over 10 years ago and then released as one of our Fluxus beers, Starling Wit makes its debut with Maine-grown ginger. Releases in cans only at the brewery today (12/15) starting at 11:00am, with no limits. Free coffee and doughnuts for all!
Good things come to those who wait. Also to those who order Allagash White. Either or.
A couple of my favorites. ❤️ Referring to the beers obviously.
From the Coolship to the foudre. This beer is beginning a fermentation journey that can take up to three years.
Scotch ale aged in scotch barrels. Lobster rolls. And more lobster rolls. These are a few of our favorite things.
The Tiny House!
Where the fire’s warm, Coolship beers are flowing, and there’s a whole lot of cheese!

A spontaneously fermented ale aged in oak barrels. It is a blend of both old and young unfruited spontaneous beer.
I really loved this beer, one of the most complex and best wild ales I have had! Highly recommend if you like the style and find a bottle.
The Naali Turtleneck is a vertical knit. 2 identical pieces worked from sleeve to sleeve and seamed together with the turtleneck and lower band added after. It’s the perfect oversized sweater for these cold days. .

Tomorrow, 12/12, is Give Where You Live Day at @allagashbrewing
where 100% of brewery pours will be donated to the ARLGP! How #pawsome
is that!? We can’t wait!
Hello wild friend. This agar plate contains yeast we harvested from muscat grape must—the freshly pressed juice from grapes. Wild yeast loves to hang out on fruit, and this muscat must was no exception. We’ve had some tasty results with this yeast in pilot beers and are excited to see where it leads us...
Farm to Face by @allagashbrewing
Hands down my favorite offering from Allagash. Farm to Face starts its life off as a pale ale and then turns magical with the introduction of pediococcus, lactobacillus, and a fuck-ton of peaches. Fuck-ton = 3lbs of peaches per gallon of beer. This beer then travels from north of the wall, down the coast, onto my island and right into my cellar/stomach. Then I pee it out.
This Thursday, the popcorn (and beers) will be flowing as we show Holly Star! In this locally-produced holiday comedy, we find a young woman who barely makes a living as a puppeteer returning to Maine for the holidays only to get caught up in a mysterious treasure hunt. The movie begins at 6 pm, along with the free popcorn! Grab your tickets in our bio and we’ll see you on Thursday!
The majesty of coolship season. Those bubbles are full of complex sugars, ready for wild yeast to land and start fermenting.
Winter weather warning! The snow dumped on us today, so I'm cracking open a sour I've been saving for a while!
Brew: Pick Your Own
Style: Sour ale aged in oak barrels with cherries, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries
