Their cynical words and thoughtless deeds, were like a hoard of merciless horse riding bandits, who thrashed and pierced at me with their double edged swords and blades. I shrieked in utmost pain and terror, but my screams were drowned by the sadistic and taunting laughter that rang in the air as they rode off into the cold still night. I fell painfully to my knees and found myself laying in a pool of my own blood, oozing out of my badly bruised flesh.
Their negligence mockingly swept over me like dry sand dunes that leave one buried in thick layers of dirt; I was stuck in vast and cold desert of uncertainty, not knowing if anyone would ever come and save me. I cried for days on end, hoping that death would take me but instead, he just swept past, leaving me to indulge in the wake of my endless misery.
Overwhelmed by the pain that became the whole of me, I arose once more, but not the same as I was before. I got the strength to stand on my own, scarred and broken, with an obsessive will to take back what they had stolen.
I now roam the arid land of my once blossoming and fruitful conscious, with a malicious hunger that cannot be fed and a lustful thirst that is never quenched. I walk; untouched, unmoved and unafraid of any adversaries, for I am and will forever be...The walking dead.
