It's my favourite season .. when the leaves turn that burnt orange, you can wrap up but it's not that cold ..yet and the best that's it's HOT CHOCOLATE SEASON!..... I have a 72 hour week this week so means tonight i have to prepare 6 breakfasts, 12 snacks, 6 lunches, and 6 dinners as well as having to plan workouts so I make sure I hit all.my goals 😎
I have got a lot of questions regarding post workout nutrition lately! A few things to keep in mind are: 🔹working out is actually catabolic (break down muscle) so you must give your body glycogen and protein to refuel and recover. .
🔹Before cardio to finish out your workout, have a quick source of carbs to replenish glycogen from heavy training. .
🔹the “anabolic window” isn’t as important as believed. Yes, it is best to recover as soon as possible. But your body will recover whether it’s immediately after, or a few hours after!
My preferred recovery snack includes @officialpureprotein
Protein bar and a banana. 🍌
