GOOD MORNING! ☕️🌿 I was lucky enough to have a few things reschedule themselves today, meaning that I have far more time to get on top of things that matter to me right now. 🙏🏻 That’s self care, happiness and peace of mind. I’ve started my morning a little differently than usual: with a slow dip and several laps in the apartment pool. I really can’t describe it justly without leaning towards a predictable term like ‘rejuvenating’ — so indeed, it was. Replenishing even. 😋 I love the way swimming allows my mind to wander. Each time I swim, I’m reminded of how it awakens my body — in a way that few other forms of exercise or morning routines can.👌🏼 What’s more, it’s always refreshing to mix it up. To break the routines that we swear by.. for the opportunity to feel a little different. 🕊 To notice and to envelop even a minor sense of a new chapter.
I’m continuing this Thursday as I’ve started it. Getting some work done. Catching up with @digital.hann
over coffee. ☕️ Even treating myself to a slow walk home. No one’s around and I tell ya, it feels like bliss. 🌱 Speaking of, it’s safe to say I’m now absolutely convinced on yoga — I’m heading to another class this evening with @themelbournelook
and I can’t wait. When we find something we love or something that — simple as it sounds — does good things for us, I think it’s our responsibility to self to indulge in it often. Take smoothie bowls, for example. 🙂 We all know that despite my endeavour to eat more widely and nutritiously this year, my love for these will never fade. I’ll simply find a new way [or a new destination] at which to enjoy them. To let you in, the latest spot I’m hitting is @bowlsbaby
— and truth be told, I’ll be here as often as I can. If not for the interior, that Golden smoothie [think banana, maple, raw dark chocolate..]. 🤪🤸🏻♀️ Life doesn’t get much better than doing and sharing the things you love. So here I am, folks, doing just that. 😌
