Not exactly sure how it all came together today that I actually liked what I saw in the mirror so I snapped a few pics of it .. it’s rare that I like what I see , the crazy part is according to the scale this morning I was 368.9 and yes I checked a few times !! Lil heavier than I said last week that I wanna be but if going to take a positive out of this is , HOW MANY 360 PLUS people do you know that have decent abs 🤷♂️. Still plenty to work on every day but something is working even though everyone says the way I train doesn’t work .. every body part every day and everything to failure .. I know it doesn’t work so that’s why the pics are really strange 🤪🤗
For those of you who are already on a fitness journey, I want to know what your why is. What motivates you and keeps you on your journey? 🧐 Maybe it’s not just one thing, maybe it’s several reasons, but it is so important to identify what your reasons are. .
When you find your why, it allows to you focus and sort out your goals which is so crucial to staying accountable. Also, working out isn’t always just about losing or gaining weight, 🙅♀️ in fact, mine has nothing to do with it. .
For me, I workout to feel healthier and continue to improve my overall health. 🌱 I workout to keep away of the health issues I was dealing with before I started my journey. The headaches, the weird aches and pains, the fatigue, the anxiety. All of these things I rarely experience now. I started my journey also to improve my self-confidence. 💕 I love to challenge myself and working out is such a great way to do that, for example these moves from AAA today were such a challenge, but I loved it! 💪🏼 .
So now, for those of you who aren’t on a journey, what’s your why not? .

Happyyyy Tuesday little ones!💋Even though I can’t workout just yet, this is me 3 weeks post op getting my implants out, haven’t worked out consistently in about 2 months, but I am feeling soooo much better every single day! She def doesn’t have it all together, but still makes an effort.
She’s got messy hair and an even messier mind at times.

resistance band🤩today I did a 20 min ab circuit at the start and then spent the rest of the session training legs. I felt the most confident I have in the gym for a long time and feel like I’m really starting to get stronger which is the best feeling🏋🏻♀️I hope everyone smashed their workouts and if it was a rest day then I hope it was amazing😻💗

Right guys and gals - the secret is out as promised🤫 this glute focused leg session took me 4 WHOLE DAYS to recover 💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️

1️⃣ single leg RDLs 10 x 3
1️⃣ superset with normal DB RDLs 10 x 3
2️⃣ smith machine squats - making sure you do each rep SLOW, and push through your heels on the way up - makes your glutes 🔥🔥 15-20 x 3
3️⃣ curtsy lunges 15-20 x 3 each leg
4️⃣ goblet squats 12-15 x 3
5️⃣ hip abduction 30-40 x 3
EMPHASIS ON SLOW (try 2 seconds for the down & the up)

had a little break from the gym to gather my toughs and let my body recover from not getting enough sleep and having struggles with my nutrition as well... .
it's acc so important to let ur body rest once in a while and missing a couple of workouts will not be the end of the world because when you go back you have all this new energy that you didn't have before! also changing ur workout plan every 4-6 weeks is crucial so you won't get bored and have always new ways and movements that challenge ur body in a compeltely different way! so listen to ur body and remember to rest enough 😴
Hey hey heyyyyy, checking innnn, sweaty as all hell💪🏻💪🏻, but what else is new?😂 Did YOU get your workout in yet!????😉🙌🏻 I was feeling super unmotivated today, or in other words.... LAZY AFFFFF. I mean this was partially due to lack of sleep but still my head wasn’t in it, and honestly my bed is a cloud from the heavens 😂😍 so I totally slept in till 8, which now has thrown a wrench in my day but ohhhhh welll🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Anyway, the gym this morning just seemed so far out of reach, but while I was laying in bed all warm and cozy, I realized how “comfort” is my enemy, it’s all of ours, it’s why we don’t change, it’s why we don’t follow through.... New things are scary, change is, I mean how could it not be??!!!
We like to hold onto what we consider to be “the norm”, the comforting feeling of all of the things we’re so use too, unaware of how much we can accomplish once we step outside that comfort zone.
Comfort is easy, it’s effortless, which is why we must train our brains to tell comfort to Shut the hell up, because you know what???? Working towards ANYYYY goal you have in YOUR LIFE will NEVER BE EASY and the days you push yourself through your mental blocks are going to be the very BEST ones!!! 😍♥️ They’re going to be the days you look back on to keep you going!!!
I wouldn’t be where I am now, if on the days I felt lazy, tired, and unmotivated I didn’t force myself to suck it up, because guess what? Hard work and progress is HARD, but it’s endlessly REWARDING!

Yesterday I talked about balance and my body....⠀
I want to be very clear that my experiences have brought me to this place. The mindset and mental work I have had to do to get here did NOT happen overnight.⠀
I know that if I had not gone through my extreme dieting cycles of contest prep I would NOT be in the place I am now with my body. ⠀
Contest prep taught me a lot about how disciplined I can be. It taught me how to prioritize what I thought was my ultimate goal. It taught me to commit and believe in myself. ⠀
My bodybuilding diet was an EXTREME diet. At least it was for me. I know looking back that it did lay the foundation for my disordered eating mentality and diet mentality. ⠀
This was me, one week after my physique show in 2014. Here I was about 117 lbs, shredded lean but was I happy? Moments in time, yes but for the most part, I was miserable. ⠀
My abs did not make me happy. I did not feel sexy as f*ck. Not this lean. I was so tired, miserable, HUNGRY and my hormones were all messed up. ⠀
Restricted, over trained and tired, that is how I felt. This was a result of dieting, hard for a physique show. This is not real life for most people but when clients come to me asking me if they can diet down so they can see their abs, I have to have the honest conversation of what that type of dieting may involve. ⠀
This is why having a coach can help you understand the highs and the lows of dieting. It is not all ripped abs and rainbows. There is a cost to getting lean. ⠀
I know first hand the time it takes and the discipline required. Even when using flexible dieting protocols and macro tracking there comes a time where poverty macros suck and it gets really hard. ⠀
There is way more to this process than just dieting. If you are a woman looking to find your abs and keep them without starving and over-exercising DM me! I can show you that there are better ways, but also educate you on the real issues that can arise. ⠀
