Windiest day I’ve ever seen (felt?) with the power going out on campus and my first two classes cancelled... was a bit of a weird start. Ended up getting a lot of work done though, crushed a workout, had more class and finished the day off with a purchase of a pannier (waterproof of course!). My commuter bike is getting pretty decked out.... orange grips, flashy gloves and a sweet back rack. Let’s gooo!!!
Barcelona you are incredible ❤️ I have fallen in love with this amazing place, the buildings ⛪ the streets, the culture ❤️ if you have never visited then put it at the top of your travel bucket list now! My top three favourite things so far are @basilicasagradafamilia @museupicasso
and everything Gaudi ever touched! Oh and the sangria 🍷 gin 🍸 and sunshine ☀️
Leaving home is one of the hardest things . Well its not particularly difficult, just get on the bus, wait at the aitport, take on and off the plane and thats it. But leaving the ones I love is the saddest part. Sometimes a tear or two come out. Well, home is home. And the moment of coming into an empty room, and suddenly being on my own sucks. And it sucks for couple of days, which are accompanied by apathy and loss apetite .. but after couple of days it is all good. I adapt and I start enjoying the place again. That has been my life for the last 5 years and I actually love it. It allowed me to become the person I'm and develop my personality very well. And it could not have been better at this point. #homesick #Slovakia #Copenhagen #Russia #expats #abroad
vyšehrad fortress has the best views of prague (especially if you want to catch the sunset) ☺️
I’ve been home for almost a week, but my instagram will probably look like I’m still in Europe until Christmas 😂
The entrance to one of my favorite Roman neighborhoods, Monti ♥️ Oh how I miss your funky thrift shops filled with old Valentino trench coats and Van Gogh art filled button-ups, and of course your aperitivo bars! •

A different kind of Observing and Reflection today- Wishing all a Happy and Healthy New Year
So glad we got to see Santorini from this perspective. Definitely one of my favorite highlights from our trip!
These friends. We’ve done so many things the last month and it’s weird being in a new country without them. We’ve done easy things together and also very hard things that were easier because of them; eaten amazing food and terrible food that was better because of each other; drank excellent wine and also disgusting wine that made us laugh hysterically because of HOW bad it can be; been elated together and also in the worst possible moods; we’ve smelled each others’ smells, especially the really bad ones; learned things about one another that we maybe didn’t need to know but made us love each other that much more; endured miserable living conditions and also better accommodations than we could have imagined; had great conversations but also enjoyed silence together; we’ve seen the best and worst versions of each other and had open disagreements with our spouses. We’ve given each other space when we needed it and also spent every waking hour together...
We left beautiful friends in Atlanta...and these guys were waiting for us over here. They are reminders of how much we need friendship, even when we’re across the world. These are the friends that we know would love our friends back home. We share wavelengths, humor, taste in coffee, distaste for massive tourist groups, similar budgets, love for warm weather, and a general wonder about the world...
My mom had this plaque in her bathroom that said “a garden of friends is always in bloom.” It’s terribly cheesy and always made me roll my eyes and also I have no idea what it means. But somehow I still remember it. And also I love gardens and flowers and how they are a necessary beauty in my life. Anyway, I’m thankful for this blooming bunch of friends and how much beauty they have added to our trip. I don’t know how to end this post so here are some flower emojis. 💐🌷🌸🌻✌🏼

Calton Hill in Edinburgh has some marvelous views. We were lucky this day was fairly bright. Tag a friend that you want to visit Scotland with!
